Beautiful hotel on the lake

Lovely location on Lake Daylesford. Highly recommend booking a room with a view of the lake. The rooms are very comfortable. A highlight is definitely the food at the restaurant.

After booking for a room last April for 2 nights in November, I realised I needed a room with a walk in shower ( owing to a disability) I phoned and spoke to the reception - on arrival we were helped to our room over looking the lake, (we were upgraded) such a surprise. The food was "to die for" and the room very comfortable, staff all very friendly and helpful especially Wendi our waitress. Wonderful place.

We have stayed at The Lakehouse at least five times and our most recent stay was fantastic. The rooms overlook the lake in Daylesford, providing the most idyllic, quiet and restful setting. The staff are welcoming and friendly and ready to assist with any requests. Finally, the restaurant well and truly deserves its reputation as one of Victoria’s best. Luxury hotel which lives up to its reputation. The room was immaculate, spacious and beautifully appointed. The staff were unfailingly courteous, welcoming and friendly.
