Great location!!!

My husband and I had originally planned to visit Orchid Island two days. But due to the typhoon forecast, we don’t want to risk getting stuck and unable to return to Denver. So, we decided to stay in KenTing on a whim! We saw good reviews and decided to try it out. While the amenities aren't hotel-like, but the location so great. No need to drive; just walk past the lawn to the beautiful beach, and behind that is main street. The staff was very friendly, I thought she’s owner greeting us with friendly welcome. She said just an employee, the owner is so kind, she helps owner run the business! That kind of service was heartwarming. The breakfast was okay, but free drinks and ice cream provided to cool down in the KenTing sun were a nice touch! She also recommended a restaurant in LongPan, sashimi is incredibly fresh, and tuna fried rice so good. Thank you for your warm service!

Very friendly enthusiastic host, ready to help wirh anything. Quiet road, but easy access to the lively evening street market. Nice view from the balcony. Free coffee and icecream were a bonus. Breakfast was small, but very tasty. Powerful hot shower.

Great service

The manager owner is really nice. He actually turned on the aircon before we arrived to cool the room. The room is beautiful with a big balcony that faces the sea. There is all you can have drinks and ice cream anytime before 9:30pm. We would definetely be back.

Perfect small hotel for a beach weekend. Lovely staff and convenient to the area parks. I stayed in the "panoramic view" room. Huge balcony with incredible views of the sea. Very reasonable rates.

Great view, great host, great location

View from our view faces the sea directly ! With no blockage. Room was equipped with all the necessity items and was cleaned Everyday. Breakfast was also specially provided by the boss, he made sure that he took down what drinks you like and what time you will come down to have breakfast. Different day different menu. There were even complimentary drinks provided for all guests. The place is right in the middle of Kenting Main Street, so very convenient! Recommend to stay here especially if it’s your first time in kenting! Book the rooom facing the sea!

Out of my friend’s expectation, after we checked in, the boss offered a standard double room without sea view and balcony for us but we expected it had. We asked him and he understood our concern. He would try to move us to a spare room with sea view if the room was vacant on those days. We found out there were some vacant rooms but he did not offer it to us. Very disappointed!

Lovely Stay Beside The Sea

We stayed at this B&B for 5 days and 4 nights and we enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Pluses: 1. Location was central, close to the main town (within walking distance) but away enough to be away from the noise and crowd. 2. It faces the quiet Dawan beach and is a short 1 minute walk to the beach. 3. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Comfortable and cosy enough. 4. The reception staff is helpful and polite and makes for a pleasant stay especially when you know your needs and feedback are well looked into. (although he is mainly Mandarin speaking, but he can understand basic English) 5. The first floor dining room where breakfast is served is nice and cooling. A very inviting and pleasant feel. 6. The nearest self service laundry and dry service is but a short 2 minute walk away. Useful for those who go on long travels. The only minus is that the bed is soft and the bed springs is not in the best condition. Hence it may pose problems for those with lower back issues. Highly recommended to stay at LoveSea126.

Nice location

Conveniently located. Less than 5 min walk to the main road where all the shops are but not directly on the strip so not too noisy. Great view of the water - not all rooms have an ocean view but the lobby where breakfast is is facing the water. Quaint little hotel. Felt very homey. Had all the necessities. BEWARE: there is no elevator! The building is only 5 storeys but those with mobility issues should look elsewhere.

Poor service, poor breakfast, not worth it

The owner is not willing to give any effort to accommodate our requests, I wanted to check out half hour late due to surfing lesson. Later I found out another guest checked out an hour late simply by unwilling to leave the room. It's double standard and caused a lot of hassle to me, having to leave kenting without a proper shower after a morning in the sea. The breakfast is really poor quality, sandwiches are cold and a lack of effort to make it better, I expect much more from a family run hostel, especially I have paid for the most expensive room on Saturday visit. To be fair, it is situated a good location, but there are also many options in this area.

Beautiful view, lovely & poetic stay

Lovely experience. Sea view was beautiful. Rooms were nicely decorated with poetic touches in many places. Owner Kenny was there and was very nice and helpful. Warm and cozy place to stay. Look forward to coming back.
