Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, safe, secluded, and private but only 2 miles from downtown Hendersonville and tons of hiking and waterfalls. This ROUNDHOUSE in the trees has a wrap around deck overlooking 2 acres, Finley Creek, an old dam and waterfall and fenced yard. HVAC, granite countertops, cathedral ceilings, skylights, indoor electric fireplace, 60" Smart TV, whirlpool tub, gated deck with seating, grill and propane fireplace over looking the water. Quality everything!
The space
The Roundhouse is in the trees overlooking Finley Creek. It is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath roundhouse with a great room (living room and kitchen), skylights, granite counters, whirlpool tub, nice deck with grill and propane fire pit, super clean, high quality bedding and kitchen appliances and accessories, added amenities, everything you need. Robes provided for your privacy as the shower is in secondary bathroom. Private and secluded but only 2 miles from Downtown Hendersonville.
The downstairs is all windows and French doors and is accessible from an outdoor staircase. We have turned it into a game room with a pool table, ping pong table, darts, a game table with board games, foosball table, Wifi and a blue tooth speaker. It opens up to a deck with a hanging nest chair and comfortable porch furniture that over looks a path down to Finley Creek. We have Adirondack chairs down at the bottom that you can sit in and be by the creek or move onto the creek and soak your feet. We also have a large bucket of creek toys and Turkish towels for kids to play and pan for gold.
We welcome dogs with respectful dog owners. We provide dog bowls inside and out on the gated deck, fenced in yard, dog towels, dog blankets for upholstered furniture, poop bags and treats.

More than a destination: Tranquil Roundhouse is an inspirational mountain paradise. Once we turned off the main road, barely 5 minutes out of town we knew we were in for a treat, but even the tree covered drive along the stream and over the small bridge did not prepare us for what we experienced. What we found was more charming, welcoming and comfortable than we’d expected to find after a long journey. What’s more, of the nearly 70 VRBOs and other rental properties we’ve enjoyed over two decades, the Roundhouse has captured the overall #1 position. The property description is 100% accurate, though perhaps a bit too modest. We enjoyed all the highlights promised- Very well appointed kitchen and bath. - Comfortable bedding and living areas. - Plenty of blankets. - Indoor and patio fireplaces. - Very Dog friendly with fenced yard. - Excellent WiFi and small desk from where I managed to clock several productive work days. - Close proximity to downtown, hiking trails, wineries, breweries, anything you want yet feels like you’re totally secluded in the forest.- Our hosts even provided extra propane for the deck-side firepit. If you’re looking for a peaceful, serene home that you never want to leave, but would also like a base from where you can launch many and varied adventures, this is your place. We’ll never forget it, and plan to return every year.

We had such a great stay. The home was perfect for a little getaway with our dogs. So many thoughtful touches. Coffee, creamer, the fresh eggs were great! All the little bathroom items. Plenty of linens and blankets. Comfy bed and couch. Big smart TV for relaxing and watching movies. The little creek was fun for the dogs to splash around. Coffee on the wrap around porch. Deer walking down the stream in the morning. Perfect cabin in the woods!
