I enjoyed this property the entire eight nights I was there. The home was very comfy and extremely clean and the mountain top acreage gave a lot of space to roam and if you brought kids it would be a safe place for them to run around and play. There were lots of mountain roads to walk on, and there were great mountain views a 5 minute walk from the house but just sitting on the front porch was so relaxing just looking out at the expanse of the lawn and the beautiful trees. The kitchen was well stocked. The only thing that I really needed to bring was food and drinks. There was a nice gas grill on the porch. Howard and Betty were wonderful hosts and they just lived a short way up the lane and gave me my privacy but were right there if I needed anything. I used the fire pit frequently. The location just NE of Hendersonville was ideal. It was a great base for all the day trips around the area, including the Blue Ridge Parkway, Asheville, wineries, apple farms, brewery’s and friendly North Carolina folk.A lot of historic little towns were close by.I have already recommended this place to my friends and family and if I ever get back up in that area, I will definitely be back. Truly a memory that I will never forget.
