Americas Best Value Inn

Good night's rest for passing through.

Lobby area was undergoing extensive renovations, something I had not seen listed when booking. As a result, the breakfast that was supposedly offered per the listing was not available. Beyond that, the person who checked me in didn't seem terribly enthusiastic (and can't really blame him, but when you work in a customer - facing role you should at least have a facade of friendliness. No such issues with the person I interacted with to check out, who was nicely chipper. Room itself was nice and spacious, working air, and comfortable bed. Some scuffs/dings on walls but otherwise appeared clean. Plugs I used worked properly and were conveniently positioned for my needs, had no issues using the wifi either. Towels/soap/shampoo were already in the room as was a coffeemaker and coffee. All in all a decent place to spend the night on my way through, which given the location (middle of nowhere as is much of Texas), is all it needs to be.

Quality Inn Marshall

Nice hotel!

This was a nice play to stay. Everyone was friendly. It was clean. I gave it 4 instead of 5 because there was a musty smell and they only left 1 wash cloth for 2 people. The stairs needed power washed also. Overall I would stay there again. Pretty tile and counters. Flat screen tv. Good ac. Nice place!

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites JACKSONVILLE

can I please sit in a chair?

The breakfast was ok. the attendant of it was very nice. The bed was very comfortable, overall room pleasing. We notified the front desk our 1st night that the chair was broke down bad so they took it away, we did not want to be charged for that chair we did not break. The next morning we asked the girl can we plz get another chair. She said maint/man will be in and she would call and let us know when we could get that one or another one. We never heard back and just did the best we could w/o (uncomfortable), upon check/out I let the mgr. know this and she said oh well, it will be fixed and be put back in the room, Well Good for the NEXT guests, we needed it for at least the 2 remaining days. she did not even say Sorry, this is not a cheap hotel so we were disappointed. We were in town for a class reunion.
