The Smith House is a beautiful place to stay. Once I parked my car I did not have to move it until I left to go home. It is very conveniently located near the Dahlonega Square. The room was quiet and clean. It like spending time with family. The restaurant is amazing. I would live at the Smith House if it were possible! 😊

The front desk attendant was very nice and she let my husband and I check in about 30 minutes early. Room was clean, air conditioner worked very well, and the bed was very comfortable. We would stay here again. Very nice parking accommodations.

This is a fantastic location to everything! It’s a short walk to all the restaurants, boutiques, museums, and a short drive to all the wineries. I can’t think of one negative thing to share! I didn’t try the restaurant, but maybe next time.

The property was nice overall and check in was very quick. The walls are very thin though and we could hear our next door neighbors speaking in a general conversation. They had a young child that woke up early and they woke us up.

Horrible stay

First night we are there, we check in, carry our suitcases up 3 flights of stairs, only to get a phone call from the front desk and hour later asking if we left the shower curtain out of the shower because they had water leaking in their office. And could I get up & go check if there was standing water in the bathroom. The room was clean. We got locked out of our room due to a faulty locking mechanism. We had no water on our last night stay and we were told we could move to a different room but they had issues with those rooms as well. I tried to get a hold of the Manager several times and no answer. Would never stay here again. This place sucks.
