Cyndi was great and the young man that took our to go order at the Dugout on Thanksgiving was very nice. The room was clean except around the outside and bottom of the toilet. It was disgusting due to urine all over it. The spread has holes in it but besides those few things it was ok.it was nice overall for a short getaway for my husband and I. My mother passed away early Tuesday morning and I truly just needed the time away to try and distract me some. Cyndi was so very kind to me during this process. We initially canceled and then the next morning I called to see if we could still come and she was so understanding with my wishie washing decisions. She was sweet to also add some very kind words and conversation about her own mom.

Upon opening the door, the view was unexpected. The photos did not do this room justice. Felt like walking into a cabin in the woods. They provided a bottle of wine and some snacks which I thought was very thoughtful. There was everything there that you need for your stay. Even had a fireplace (electric) but made it cozier. There was hardly any road noise. Had a pretty view out the back sliding door. Plenty of hot water for a relaxing shower after a day of exploring.

Cindy was very sweet, her husband wasn't. The rooms were good, but the fan in the bathroom, the back porch lite didn't work, and the utility pole light in the back of the property never came on during our stay. If we didn't have brought our spotlight, letting the dog out was challenging. The back side of the property looked ragged. The biggest problem I noticed is the laundry/supply room door was left open 24 hours a day. I can only imagine the wildlife that could have gotten in with the towels and bedsheets.
