Decent hotel. Needs a few repairs and upgrades but overall it was ok. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great location. Restaurants all around, Walmart and Ingles are in close proximity.

It was a nice room. Most of the staff was nice. One man that was on staff at night was very rude to me. Overall it was a nice hotel.

Although our initial preference was to stay at the Hampton Inn right next to the Baymont we decided to give them a try, plus they were less expensive. The staff was polite and helpful upon check-in. Upon arriving into the room it seemed decent...a little dated but decent. However, after we got settled in there were ants crawling all over both night stands and there was a previous guests 'motion lotion' left on the floor in the room. Needless to say the room was not clean...however when we brought to the attention to management they were receptive and apologetic and offered to give us a refund. Still not interested in ever staying at another Baymont Inn. :(

Location of hotel is close to stores and within walking distance of food locations as well. I would stay again.

Don't look too closely at the walls or bathroom tiles or stained chairs or you might decide to sleep in your car. While all the staff I encountered were very friendly, the hotel is very tired and dated. That, however, doesn't mean that the staff cannot do some deep cleaning. I didn't eat the free breakfast because I was worried about how clean the food prep room might have been...

was a average hotel in a small town close to family Helen tullula gorge etc

We stayed overnight while visiting Helen, GA for Oktoberfest which was about 20 minutes away. The rooms were overpriced at $130 per night, but I assume the prices go up in October. Early check-in was not available so we came back that evening. We were given a handicap-accessible room which had a jetted tub. The room was clean and comfortable. We had the complimentary breakfast which while convenient was very basic. I requested additional towels and was told they were out! I was very annoyed. Overall, it met our needs for this trip. I would not pay more than $79 any other time of year.

This was a good choice while we visited family in the area. very roomy & comfortable room & well cleaned & ready for us. Staff very cordial. Good value

We were very pleased with our stay. The entire Staff were friendly and helpful. Although initially hard to find, we found the location to be located in the center of everything we were looking for. We would definitely stay here again, and will recommend this hotel.

I was visiting friends in Toccoa, but found that this hotel was close enough to Toccoa to work as a hub for my trip. I was looking forward to the heated pool especially during the evenings and mornings before I went out for the day. Unfortunately, not only was there mold on my shower curtains and many long black hairs in my bed, the area around the pool was coated with a thick layer of dust, peeled paint, and who knows what else. The gross thing is I didn't notice it until I had already entered the pool (which was actually ice cold - if it was heated, it was not heated warm enough). From that vantage point it jumped out at me because I could see the floor up close. Needless to say, I was filled with dread at the thought of having to get out and walk across that surface just to collect my t-shirt and flip-flops. That was the first and last time I used the pool there. The hotel has everything it needs to be successful - a friendly staff, decent rooms and beds, a free breakfast, a pool, reasonable rates - but the cleanliness was not up to par in my humble opinion. My conclusion: no matter what special a hotel offers, if the beds appear to have been slept in and the area around your pool looks like it hasn't been swept in over a year, it isn't a good bargain. For that reason, I could not in good conscience recommend this hotel to a friend.

we stayed three nights with little or no complaints. motel was very quiet in rooms over a weekend with lots of guests . free breakfast was more than expected with hot and cold food. close to shopping and restaurants. clean and friendly. will stay there again. .
