Lovely countryside stay

We throughly enjoyed our three nights in Anke's cottage. It provided a great base to explore Strasbourg and the Alsace region. The cottage itself is cozy and enchanting, located on the grounds of a larger chatelet. Anke and her husband Eric were welcoming and friendly. I definitely recommend!

a charming cottage in a highly convenient location

the cottage is well equipped with a comfortable bed , good bathroom and comfortable lounge. The kitchen is well equipped and convenient. The hosts were kind and very helpful with local suggestions. The house is ideally suited for visits to Strasbourg ,Colmar, Freiburg and other nearby towns . The house has a delightful garden which is easily accessed.

Business Traveler

The cottage was wonderful. I am a business traveler that pretty much lives out of hotels during the year. It was wonderful staying at the cottage. Anke has spent a lot of time and effort in decorating and setting up the cottage for travelers. Everything you could possibly need or think you will need is already in the cottage. It was very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The view is spectacular. Anke and her husband, Eric, make you feel like family. I had a wonderful and very tasty lunch with them one day while staying in the cottage. They both provided lots of very good ideas of activities to do in the area and recommended restaurants. If you are ever visiting the Alsace region of France I would highly recommend staying at the cottage. I can't wait to go back to visit and take my wife.

My wife and I stayed at this property for a weekend to take a break in the middle of our campervan holiday (July 2022). The hosts are very friendly and multi-lingual. The cottage itself is terrific with everything you need for a relaxing time. There are great views out of the windows and nice walks around the local village and environs. We drove to the local railway station on the Saturday and had a day in Strasbourg which ended up being one of the highlights of our entire three week trip. I would recommend this holiday cottage to anyone.

Kurzurlaub im Elsass

Wir hatten ein paar sehr schöne Tage im Elsass / den Vogesen. Die Wohnung ist wirklich schön eingerichtet und genau richtig fĂŒr zwei Personen. Von dort aus erreicht man viele Ziele in der Umgebung problemlos. Lediglich der VerkehrslĂ€rm aus dem Tal war etwas laut, der wunderschöne Garten hat es aber wieder wett gemacht. Vielen Dank an unsere Gastgeber!

Un séjour agréable en Alsace

Heiligenberg est un petit village en hauteur trĂšs charmant et calme. Le logement est trĂšs bien placĂ© car il permet de rejoindre des sentiers de randonnĂ©e en 10 Ă  15 minutes en voiture. Nous avons aussi pu explorer les environs. Strasbourg est proche Ă©galement ainsi qu'Europa Park qui se trouve Ă  50 minutes en voiture. Le logement Ă©tait propre et bien dĂ©corĂ©. Seul petit bĂ©mol : le grand axe ainsi que l'usine (bois) en contrebas. Cependant, ils sont suffisamment loin pour tout de mĂȘme nous permettre d'admirer le paysage. Nous avons passĂ© un trĂšs bon sĂ©jour !

Schönes Cottage im Elsass

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit im Elsass. Wir haben uns sofort heimisch gefĂŒhlt und offenbar waren wir kein Fremdkörper, denn auch die Katzen aus der Nachbarschaft haben uns besucht. Wunderschöner Urlaub

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub im Elsass. Das kleine aber feine, liebevoll eingerichtete Cottage fĂŒhlte sich wie "Zuhause" an. Anke und ihr Mann sind einfach super tolle Gastgeber, bei denen keine Fragen offen bleiben. Egal ob Reisetipps oder Insiderwissen. Und wer gerne wandern geht: die Umgebung lĂ€dt einfach dazu ein.
