Butternut Camp was the perfect cozy hideaway that offered us a quiet refuge in which to unwind, but was close enough to the village of Watkins Glen that we could easily partake of all that was on offer. There were several wineries within easy reach as well as craft breweries. Restaurants that catered to every taste could be found in town and along state route 414. The scenery was spectacular. The gorge in the state park is not to be missed. We found our stay relaxing as well as full of activities that we enjoyed.

So quiet and peaceful. Very private. Cabin had all one would need for a long stay. Very close to local vineyards, distilleries and breweries. Watkins Glen, falls and all the beauty of Seneca lake was a short drive away. I had a leak in a tire from a screw which a local tire shop, with the nicest people, took care of me on a Saturday morning. Righly recommended! I will book again.
