The venue is very quite, clean, beautiful, delicious meals, friendly service. the rooms are specious and neat. A home away from home. Clean pools and beautiful gardens. great view from the mountain top, overlooking the elephants, rivers and nature. The staff is friendly , helpful and welcoming. Well mannered potters to help with luggage. Safe environment.

The staff is very friendly and the rooms are very spacious, clean and with comfortable bed. The food is great from breakfast to dinner at the restaurant. Easy access to the main road and closer to the Kruger National Park

Didn't like the location of the resort much. A 1 km stretch to the hotel is unpaved and is thus, quite problematic. The property is spread over a large area and is built quite differently. Our room was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. They charged us extra in the name of taxes, even though we had paid in full inclusive of all taxes.

I spent 2 nights while attending a conference. The welcome experience was really impressive. The food is divine. I particularly loved the braai we had on one of the nights we were there. The rooms are spacious and I loved the Spanish look of the buildings. The pool and gardens are lovely and really well maintained. I would love to come back!

My first time I ever visited Casa Do Sol and I will never return again. First of all I was given a room of a lessor quality as what I have paid for. Secondly , seeing that it is also a Spa I wanted to book a massage. I was given a time and chose 16h00 - 17h00. The lady at the Spa tried to convince me to take an earlier time and I explained that I can only be there at 16h00. This resulted in the massage never materializing. The information on their website regarding rates were at the time also incorrect.

Staff and food is of the highest quality, but lack on some maintenance issues, feed back has been give to the resort, how ever a great stay... thanks Great places and central to visit other sites and destination. However maintenance needs attention on smaller issues

The facilites are excellent and well maintained. The staff are freindly, honest and accomodating. The quality of the bedding and towels is on point. This is one of the few hotels that actually assist with arranging tours and activities.

The does not give one a sense that you are in the bush however, the gardens, pool and general public areas are great. The staff and food are great but the hotel needs renovation desperately. Very good value for money and well situated for access to activities in the area. The family rooms are good for small children but not really well suited for older kids.

The Spa staff were flexible with our appointment changes from the start. We were driving from JHB so I had to move the appointment. When we arrived we received a lovely welcome from the spa ladies and they walked with us from the hotel reception to the spa. We were given cool bottled water which helped. Our couples treatment was great! Wish it was longer. I will be back and this time I will book at the hotel. Stunning italian villa.

We chose this hotel for one reason only. It was literally next door to the Elephant sanctuary we were booked to visit the following morning at 7-30. I therefore had no expectations of anything but a bed for the night. We arrived around midday and were informed we would get an upgrade on our room, always nice to hear. My wife and I in one room and our kids directly opposite, over the road< in another. The hotel has a Spanish village feel and is clean and comfortable. We had time to kill so went to the pool which is really nice, in a great setting and where we were looked after well by the bar staff who were attentive but not intrusive. The hotel staff were very accommodating of our early start and moved breakfast forward for us and what a treat!! My only regret was that we did not have more time for it, the food was fantastic! I only have good things to say about this place.
