Joanne was a great host! Communicated well and everything was very nice for us and our two dogs. Always great to be able to bring our pups along for an adventure! The house is in a sweet litle lake neighborhood and very close to Hiawassee and Hayesville for restaurants and shopping. Perfect location! Thank you Joanne!

It is a nice setting with a nice view of the lake. The cabin is comfortable and cozy. Joanne was very proactive in communicating with me, and she responded quickly when I had questions. We didn't go in the lake, because it was too cold, but the scenery was great with all the leaves changing colors.

Great Lake view and I loved that the neighborhood had its own boat ramp. Spent a wonderful day island hopping with my fiancé and our dogs. The place was a great fit for us and would 100% stay again

If you are looking for a warm and cozy fill on the lake this is definitely a perfect getaway. Centrally located to restaurants, Beach area, and trails. The host was wonderful as well as accommodating. Having the personal touch of the host reaching out and being so welcoming was much appreciated. We would definitely recommend for your next getaway!

Property was great and accommodated us and our large dogs well. Pretty view of the water in a very nice neighborhood with a neighborhood park that was peaceful and on the water. Enjoyed hanging out on the deck and made steaks on the gas grill. Was near restaurants, grocery, gas station, trails, the dam and places to put a boat in.

A Delightful Stay

The views of the mountains and Lake Chatuge, the proximity to tons of fun things to do and the great house and terrific owners make staying here just fabulous. Can't wait to do it again next year!

Scenic Stay

Overall was a great stay had everything you needed for a nice relaxing weekend. Was very cozy, clean and quiet. The communication from the host was fantastic and friendly couldn’t have asked for better even followed up with me on the day of the stay to make sure we had the code to get in. Very scenic part of the lake close to a lot of great activities, would stay here again.

Great Little Place

As the title infers... this is a nice little place. It is a bit dated but the owners have update the bathrooms and a few other areas. The location was very quiet and very close to the lake (walking distance). The owners were very accommodating of our pets and there was plenty of room to walk them. We would stay here again.

Claire de Lune at the Lake

This was a great location for us (GA Mtn Fair, Helen & surrounding areas). The cabin layout was perfect for 2 couples. Very quiet neighborhood in a beautiful part of North Carolina! Host communication was great! Thank you!

So accommodating!

My husband and our dogs were due to attend our daughter’s Family weekend at YHC. Helene led to the event being canceled, but we were still wanting to see our daughter. Not knowing what Helene had caused at our destination in regards to travel, but being without power ourselves, the owners were so accommodating and helpful in getting us all the information we needed, what route to take, and even tips on where to eat while there! Sweet neighbors blew the driveway and porch off for us since Helene had left acorns and pine everywhere. Beautiful spot! We’ll be back!!

Wonderful Home and Setting

WE had a 3 day weekend trip and found the house wonderful and accommodating. Well equipped and great neighborhood. Saw old friends and made new friends while there. We will be back.

Great Stay in Hayesville

Was not disappointed as the house was just like the pictures. Joanne and Walt were very responsive to our needs. Very nice people!! We met several neighbors down at the lake and very nice and helpful. We want to rebook again for next year.
