Okay for a one night stay motel

Friendly customer service experience. Motel was clean for first impressions. Some of the downsides - we did think it was a little dated and did experience baby cockroaches in the room, which made the stay disappointing. However, for a one night layover it did the job.

Whilst the room was large and clean, with a modern bathroom, the room itself was very dated and is in desperate need of a makeover like the bathrooms. The staff however were extremely rude and inconsiderate. On arrival we were advised that we should not use Wotif, and instead use their own site as it is cheaper. It is up to me to use whatever platform I choose. If they don’t want people to use Wotif, then they should not list there. The next morning they decided to have their radio blaring whilst cleaning other rooms close by and to use the blower vac literally right outside our door. When I asked them to please tone it down, they told me our check out was 10am. I then advised them it was only 9:20am at the time and that we were entitled to a peaceful stay till then. We will certainly not return whilst these people own this business and will advise friends and family to steer clear as well. Never in the many years we have run our own motels have we ever been so rude and inconsiderate to our customers.

My check in was easy, with friendly helpful staff. My room was very clean and comfortable. I walked to the shops easily after staff showed me a shortcut. Overall it was a wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend it.
