Not an easy place to stay when it's chilly. Bathroom freezing! Room is ok and heated by a wall heater. Rather claustrophobic. It is important to realise this is a an apartment room with no views, a cluttered kitchen area and very little comfort. Very accessible for tbe local beach and the Rubicon reserve opposite is great.

The accommodation was basic but lovely and spacious. No oven but has bbq on outside seating area. They also stocked the draws with card/board games and books for the kids and beach towels, which was very handy. So close to the beach and lots of space around property and the town for the kids to ride their bikes and go for adventures. Hawley beach/shearwater have lots of lovely little community touches to enjoy and admire. I would definitely suggest visiting this place!
