You will love our condo that is located at The Whaler with one of the best locations on Kaanapali Beach. We are located right on the beach and a few steps away from Whalers Village. VRBO walking map is incorrect. I think it is about 30 steps from our building to the sand. The pool and spa are right next to the beach walk.

Our large two-bedroom condo is over 1400 square feet and is equipped with a full-size kitchen, central air conditioning with separate units in each bedroom, new Samsung Flat Screen Smart TV’s in the living room and both bedrooms, Wi-Fi, bed linens, towels, washer and dryer (stacked) including detergent. It has been tastefully updated over the past few years including recessed LED lights controlled by dimmer switches to set the lighting according to your needs. Ceiling fans in all the rooms.
Our choices of furnishings were designed for comfort and convenience conducive to the tropical climate without compromising on the everyday amenities that we've all come to enjoy at home. We've stocked our kitchen with lots of cooking essentials, a rice cooker, BBQ utensils, and extra baking tools for those inclined. We thoroughly enjoy the luxury of cooking and entertaining in our open kitchen.
Our large master bedroom features an extremely comfortable king bed, all down-like pillows, a 55” new Samsung TV with extras for added convenience. Large guest bedroom has (2) Queen sized beds and a Queen size sofa sleeper in the living room. New 65" Samsung Smart TV in the living room with free cable TV and Wi-Fi throughout the condo.
Both bedrooms, the living room, and dining room have direct access to the 500 square foot wrap-around lanai through large sliding glass doors to enjoy the ocean and West Maui mountain views.
Start your morning with a leisurely breakfast on your lanai and enjoy the beautiful ocean view. If you happen to be one of the lucky ones here visiting during whale season, just sit back and marvel at the magnificent show of the humpback whales as they glide gracefully through the water.
It's only a short stroll next door to the Whalers Village, the largest outdoor shopping center on Maui. You'll find a myriad of fine restaurants including Hula Grill, Monkeypod, and Leilani's on the Beach or casual family dining, convenience stores, boutique shopping, first class art galleries, live entertainment and so much more. And if you're inclined to take advantage of the many water adventures, most depart directly from Kaanapali Beach ~ now how convenient is that?

Can’t speak highly enough of how well maintained this condo is. The wrap around patio for both mountain and ocean views never got old during our 5 day visit. Being right next to the village was incredibly convenient for meals, shopping, and small groceries when needed.
The beach right in front of the hotel is probably the nicest in the area, and the process for getting towel, chairs, umbrellas was very easy.
Property management was very kind and responsive to any questions I had during my stay.
Cannot wait to come back and rent this condo again!

This property is an end unit on the 9th floor. It is newly remodeled, bright and sunny and all rooms have access to the lanai. It has beautiful views of the ocean and of the mountains on the east side!
The unit has everything you need for the kitchen.

The Condo was great. It is a spacious unit with amazing views of the ocean and mountains from the large wrap around deck. Everything worked and there was nothing broken in the unit.
The checkin process at the facility left a little to be desired. Highlighted by the fact that they would not let us in the room until 3pm, despite being at the desk at 2:55. a minor annoyance for the fantastic space.
If someone can let me know why the elevators operate at half speed in the morning and full speed throughout the day, that would be great too.

Well Appointed, Gorgeous View, Clean and Quiet
Though a few of the furnishings are showing some rough use (scratched end tables, torn hem on drapes), the unit is well appointed and comfortable. The living room is huge with a large sectional sofa and big screen tv. The beds are all comfortable. The A/C works perfectly with individual controls in each bedroom and living. The kitchen has all the cookware you need and even a few herbs and spices and some condiments in the fridge. There was no laundry soap, however. The wrap-around lanai permits 270 degree views of the mountains and ocean, though there's only one small table for 4 so we dined on the lanai of the other unit we rented 1 floor below (823) where the rest of our family was staying. The complex is well maintained, and our granddaughters enjoyed feeding the koi fish at 8:30 every morning. The pool is small and 5-6 feet deep throughout except on the steps, so not ideal for small children. The check-in process was frustrating; first they said we couldn't check in until 3:00, then they said we would do pre-check-in and just pick up the keys at 3:00. The bellman took our carton of perishable groceries up to the fridge in the unit. When we came back at 3:00, they said we had to wait until 4:00 because of our "management company's policy". I made a fuss and they handed over the keys at 3:00. Obviously the unit was ready, so I don't know what game they were playing regarding check-in times. All customers were told 3:00 as they approached the desk, and it is not physically possible for all units to be simultaneously completed at the stroke of 3:00. It just seems they want to discourage the notion of early check-ins which is annoying; given the high daily rate we paid it wouldn't have cost them anything at all to let us in an hour or two early.
