BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to weather, heavy surf, strong currents, and tides. Due to Maui's rural setting, you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don't kill them. Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Maui is in a tropical climate. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.

Amazing Place to Stay

We have been to The Eldorado multiple times in the past and will continue to stay here. It's location is perfect for the beach, black rock, and whalers village. All within walking distance. The beach cabana is fantastic and there is some of the best snorkeling a short walk up the beach. The real gem was this unit. It has been upgraded and much nicer than other units we have stayed at in the past. It's furnished nicely and is bright and airy. The kitchen has been upgraded compared to other units and a huge plus is the laundry. It was nice to be able to wash clothes during our stay. The communication with the property managers was perfect. The listing was accurate as were the photos. When we come back to stay again, we will look to book this place first!

Great for families

We found this place to be very comfortable for our family of 3. Everything was clean and worked perfectly. The resort was quiet and the Turtle Pool is steps away from the lanai. Walking to the beach was easy. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for the convenience of having a separate bedroom and full kitchen.

Really nice property.

Excellent unit. Very clean and quiet. Pool is right out the lanai. Love the outstanding fitness area. No ocean view but everything is just right for the price. Ocean views are easily found all around though. We would return.

Close to great swimming beaches

This is a great unit that is perfectly located between Kaanapali and Kapalua. Two of the best swimming beaches are within walking distance. There are excellent swimming pools on the property as well. The cabana at the beach is awesome.

The property was amazing! Well landscaped and taken care of. Great pools with great furniture. Cabana was amazing at the beach. My husband did wish the beach was a bit closer but the 5-10 minute walk was beautiful and you can always call and wait for a golf cart to pick you up both ways!

Very nice place to stay

The place was very nice- it was roomy and clean. Staff was efficient, friendly, quick, and responsive. The beach can be accessed after a brief walk passed the golf course. And Ka’anapali Beach and Black Rock can be accessed through a short walk through the (next door) Sheraton parking lot. All in all, it was a lovely place. The only thing is that it gets very dark at night, as there are very little lights placed outside. Placing some tiki torches (whether gas or fake solar ones) would have added more to the Hawaiian atmosphere and would have been a nice touch. That’s the only thing I missed and would have made this place perfect.

Great place to stay! Beautiful condo, and great location

This was a great condo for our family to stay, and would stay there again. It was a great surprise to walk in to a completely redecorated condo - looks sooooo much nicer than the pictures, with laminate floors too instead of the carpet. When we arrived there was not any extra bedding for the pullout bed - however we contacted the number given and they dropped off the bedding set that night (yay!). We would have given it 5 starts, except for these 2 things - We paid for late checkout, however that was not communicated to the people at the check out desk - our room keys stopped working at normal check out time and we were locked out after coming back from the beach. The second was a bigger deal for me though - the pictures show an outdoor table on the lanai... there was no table on the lanai when we got there. To me Hawaii is all about being outside as much as possible so it was very sad to not be able to have any meals outdoors unless we brought chairs out from inside, or picnicked on the ground. Every other condo had one outside too. I'm guessing they are still in the process of redoing the condo and that is why there wasn't one there, but they shouldn't have gotten rid of the old one until they could replace it. We loved our trip and can't wait to go back!

We loved our stay at the Eldorado

Wow! I gave all five stars, but wanted to note one area with 4 out of 5 stars on the accuracy of the description.....honestly, because it is way better and the pics are so dated! This is a fully remodeled unit that is so spacious. I took some good photos if you want them but you should simply take new ones...it is fully remodeled and renovated. We loved everything about our stay. Of course, there were Covid protocols (can't use gym at all due to the limited capacity) but you have to appreciate how serious Hawaii takes Covid unlike most of the rest of the US. Thank you again....we will definitely be back!
