The Marsh House-Pet Friendly Home with Dock
A fifteen-minute drive on the main route will take you straight from historic downtown Beaufort to this secluded, 1350 square foot, charming cottage nestled in the woods. The decor is sophisticated and refined with modern touches. Inside, you can expect local art, luxury linens, and a substantially equipped kitchen.
A short walk leads you to a wooded path and kayak launch with a dock on Clubfoot Creek (Kayaks are available by request). Guests love walking to the dock with a cozy beverage in the brisk morning air or at twilight! You might even try your hand at crabbing or fishing.
If traveling with friends or extended family, take a peek at the neighboring property, The Field House, a bit bigger at around 2600 square feet and oh so wonderful!
Travel a few miles down the road to a ferry that takes you to the charming sailing capital of North Carolina — Oriental. In fifteen minutes, you can be in Beaufort, shopping, dining, or hopping on a ferry to Shackleford Banks or Cape Lookout! A few more minutes, and you’re in Atlantic Beach. The cottage feels out of the way, but in reality, you’re close to it all! And you’ll love coming home after a day of exploring the Crystal Coast to enjoy a more unique side of coastal living.

Beautiful location and secluded
Our group had a great time staying at The Marsh House for the weekend. The property is beautiful and being secluded in the woods added to the experience. Everything in the house is up to date and well decorated. The owners provided us with kayaks so we could go on a self guided tour of the marsh and national forest. Thank you for a great stay and we look forward to returning in the future.

This is little piece of tranquility
This porch isn’t ocean front, but don’t let it fool you the sunrises and sunsets from this porch and dock are still breathtaking! We had the best 5 day stay here. It felt like home. It was so nicely decorated with all the custom special touches! The beds slept amazing ! Anything you could possibly need to cook with was at your reach in the kitchen. It was very clean and welcoming for our family of 3 and 2 yorkiepoos! The owners are beyond amazing, and right there to assist with anything you need! If you love coffee or art you have found the right place! They have a coffee and art shop right on the property!! The absolute best coffee might I add! The owner also took up a lot of time with my child and her enjoyment for art! This was definitely an experience we want forget !
