Great location, walking distance to the Capitol and many other attractions. Rafael was a wonderful host, very friendly and helpful. It is very basic accommodation, though, so you just need to be aware of this.

Spacious accommodation in Centro Habana

Staying with Cuban families can of course present a few more challenges than staying in mass / luxury tourist facilities, but in my view if people are prepared to share in a few of ordinary Cubans' difficulties (though we are spared most), the experience is much more rewarding. Rafael, Maria and family are friendly and helpful hosts. The guest accommodation is very spacious, and being at the top of the house helps avoid much of central Havana's air pollution. Just be aware that access is up about 50 stairs, including a narrow spiral staircase. Central Havana is one of the densest populated areas, and there's not much green space around, but is within a 20 minute walk to old Havana's charms, and just a few minutes from the Malecón seafront.

難易度が高いと言われるキューバ旅行ですが、ホストのおかげでたくさんのヒントを得ることができました。 おかげさまでキューバ旅行を楽しむことができました。 建物は旧市街によくある古いものですが、リノベ？と清掃がキッチリとされており、快適に滞在できました。また強力なエアコンや冷蔵庫もあります。Wifiはありませんが、Sim購入のヒントを教えてもらいました。屋上に可愛いワンコがいます。

Rafael and María were superb hosts: communicative, available, helpful and lovely to chat with while having a coffee on the roof terrace. Both the studio apartment and the other bedroom are comfortable and clean, all the windows open letting the breeze and natural light come through. The neighborhood is lively by day and calm by night, a short 15 minute walk from the Capitolio, three blocks from the seafront, etc. Can't recommend Rafael and María's house enough. Thank you for having us!

Casa Botello ofrece un apartamento sencillo con cocina, baño, sala y habitación y una bonita terraza. Se encuentra bien ubicado, cerca de la Habana vieja y con comercios y restaurantes próximos. El propietario es un experto conocedor de las necesidades que el visitante pueda tener, sus consejos son muy útiles. Valoro que me permitió registrar a una acompañante durante 3 noches sin extra.

Excelente departamento para vacacionar

Es ideal para ir de vacaciones. El departamento se encuentra en el primer piso por escaleras, es amplio y muy bien ventilado, con amplias ventanas que dejan entrar la luz del día. La habitación es muy confortable, equipada con aire acondicionado y ventilador de techo también. La cocina esta equipada con todo lo que necesitas para cocinar y es amplia y luminosa. Los dueños, Rafael y Mary son muy amables y cálidos, te hacen sentir como en casa; el café de Mary es el mejor! Ellos mantienen todo muy limpio. La terraza tiene una hermosa vista de La Habana y también cuenta con un espacio para colgar la ropa. Fuimos con mi hermana y ellos nos ayudaron en todo lo que necesitamos, nos recomendaron lugares para visitar y nos indicaron como llegar. La zona donde esta ubicado el departamento es muy tranquila y segura, de residencias familiares, se puede caminar tranquila de noche. Se encuentra muy cerca del malecón, del barrio chino, del Capitolio, y demás lugares que son ideales para conocer y recorrer como turista. Sin duda recomendamos Casa Botello!

Diferente do imaginado

O apartamento era organizado e fomos bem-recebidos. Contudo, achamos bem diferente das imagens. O acesso se dava por uma escada bem estreita em formato de caracol e isso nos deixava inseguros, pois eram dois idosos e uma gestante.
