Delightful holiday

A lovely, rustic gite, clean, tidy, comfortable and well equipped. Nicely isolated but only 10 minutes from Argentat-sur-Dordogne, with its shops and bars. The private pool was excellent and the patio was a lovely space to relax in the warm evenings.

Very comfortable property with good outdoor facilities & gorgeous environment for road or mountain biking. Will be a nice bonus once the local Bar opens as it’s a nice stroll away.

Great way to relax in real France

Jean Michel and Marie were delightful hosts. Sending us on our way with a bagful of walnuts. Comfy bed Cosy fire Swimming pool at 27 all week. Definitely recommend

Amazing and highly recommended

This was our first visit to the region and will not be the last. Communication with the owners was fantastic (Google Translate came in useful), however Marie can speak some English putting our French to shame. The gite is beautifully presented and very clean. There was everything we needed. The owners came and met us, showing us around....we could not have asked for better hosts. Nothing was ever too much for them....especially when the WiFi dropped out and Jean Michel reminded me how to count to 30 in French 😃 Our youngest enjoyed the pool, whilst the rest of us simply enjoyed relaxing around it. Merci encore Jean Michel et Marie pour nous laisser rester dans votre belle maison.

Lovely place

Met the owners upon arrival , they were both very nice and we got over the language barrier okay. The Gite itself and gardens is exactly like the pictures , beautiful. Very quiet . Relaxing.

Merveilleux séjour en Corrèze.Caractère authentique du gîte dans une ancienne grange très bien rénovée et parfaitement équipée, tout à fait conforme aux photos.Les 3 chambres sont de tailles équivalentes donc pas de jaloux !Le 2ème salon-TV installé à l'étage dans le hall de nuit est une très bonne idée. Le gîte est au calme dans un cadre verdoyant et à 10 minutes de voiture d'Argentat-sur-Dordogne où l'on peut trouver tous les commerces nécessaires.La piscine chauffée et totalement privée est un véritable plus pour se rafraîchir.Enfin, Jean-Michel et Marie sont très accueillants et disponibles. Nous garderons en mémoire notre très belle soirée en leur compagnie.Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir lors d'un prochain voyage en Corrèze.

Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Jean-Michel et son épouse, des hôtes très sympathiques et arrangeants. La maison est parfaitement bien équipée et très charmante. Le cadre verdoyant est hyper reposant et calme. Et la piscine, un vrai plaisir !

Very pleasant stay, nice and quiet location

We were welcomed by Marie & Jean-Michel upon arrival, we found a nice bottle of champagne in the fridge and the swimmingpool was heating up. We stayed for a 4-week "workation" and found the internet very stable after an initial hick-up on the first day. Very nice and quiet surroundings, with some agricultural activities now and then. Nice walks and bicyle rides in the area, you need a car for supermarkets and sight-seeing. EV charging is available in Argentat (100kW charger at Av. Foch). The restaurant in Hautefage at walking distance serves very nice local dishes in a pleasant atmosphere.
