We found the hotel quite easily right in the centre of Limoges overlooking the plaza, there is an underground car park opposite. We booked a superior room, it was a great size, very clean although the bed was a bit hard for me. A kettle and tea making facilities were in the room. The hotel staff were very polite and helpful.
The standard of the hotel is good. The room size is impressive and it is comfortable. The view onto the square in front - a former car park - is rather depressing and the absence of a restaurant is more than dissapointing. Breakfast good.
A lovely hotel right in the centre of Limoges. Nice big rooms, comfortable beds and an amazing shower!!! We had breakfast (continental) served in our room every morning. It arrived on time and was lovely, there was plenty of it. Lots of places within walking distance to eat in the evening. Most efficient check in process I have experienced - which is just what you want when you have been travelling. Underground parking available at a reasonable cost.
Friendly, efficient staff helped to make our stay a real pleasure. Our room (203, 2nd floor) was bright and well-appointed. The electric rolling shutter ensured our sleep was a peaceful one despite the hotel's proximity to La Place de la République. We enjoyed having a kettle and selection of beverages to enjoy and the shower with its various jets and heads was a welcome, refreshing facility. The bed was a good size, comfortable and the whole room with its linen and towels was impeccably clean. Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice and fresh, local produce. We always try to find hotels that are close to the city centre so we can enjoy the atmosphere and walk everywhere. This hotel's situation certainly helped us to do this. The subterranean independently operated car parking (Indigo Parking. recommended by the hotel) was perfect with access direct into the hotel and at at 12 euros per 24 hours it was extremely affordable, well-lit and secure.Limoges is an interesting, quite intimate city with plenty of art and culture. Highly recommended.
We stayed two nights and had a room overlooking the square, the room was quiet and large with a balcony. The hotel is quite well located close to the town centre. We were not treated that well by the front desk staff, they were totally disinterested, possible due to the fact that we did not speak French.
Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. It was some distance from our target of Limoges station but the venue quality made up for this. Breakfast choice was to a good standard and the staff were all friendly. The hotel is also close to restaurants and other amenities.
This hotel is up to Mercure standards, with decent and clean rooms, spacious bathroom and all necessary amenities. Friendly and efficient staff will point out different dining options depending on your taste and budget. Don't hesitate to ask, they are very helpful. The underground car park is ideally located under the square in front of the hotel with direct access to it. All interesting sites are within walking distance of the hotel as it is indeed centrally located.
Pleasant staff, always trying to answer your (basic) requests. Clean and quiet rooms, comfort is OK. Do not expect much behind as there is a short list of services offered. The absence of restaurant and the average room service offer should engage you to try the Restaurants nearby.
Clean enough, bar's lacking the personal touch. Location as a base to travel elsewhere is good if you can understand a sat nav. Couple of parking options local around 12€ for 24 hours. Loads of restaurants around square that the hotel sits on so a stroll is recommended.
After a search on the internet, we traveled to Limoges after hearing it had the most Hallowed spirit in France. The Mercure was the perfect base for our short stay. Centrally located, close to the sights and the Halloween celebrations. The staff was very kind, especially to my 10 y/o daughter, who was very excited for Halloween. Oh..., and the breakfast was great!
