Villa Katajala is a modern, newly built 200m2 villa located just over an hour`s drive from Helsinki, nestled in a peaceful area, surrounded by forest. Only 20m from the waters edge, the floor-to-ceiling windows along the entire lakefront side offer beautiful views of the lake and garden.
Play games on the lawn, relax in the hot tub, or toast sausages by the fire pit.

Upon entering the villa, the large floor-to-ceiling windows immediately draw your attention to the garden and lake views. The open-plan living area is the heart of the property which encompasses the lounge, kitchen, and dining area, with doors opening to a spacious glass conservatory.
This conservatory can be opened on both sides, connecting the lakefront lawn to the courtyard. It also links the main villa to the guesthouse and sauna.
The gently sloping lawn alongside the conservatory offers a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the evening sun.

In the warmer months, the glass conservatory, warmed by the evening sun, offers a perfect relaxation spot. You can fully open its sides to merge outdoor freshness with indoor comfort. The conservatory houses a large gas BBQ and includes a dining set that accommodates up to 10 guests, making it ideal for entertaining.

The sauna features a large window that offers stunning views of the lakefront. Inside, the spacious sauna is equipped with a high-quality stove and an adjacent tiled wet room with a shower.

The property boasts two large, well-maintained lawn areas totalling over 600m2, ideal for relaxing, playing games, and enjoying the outdoors. Adjacent to the lake, you`ll find a wood-fired hot tub and a fire pit surrounded by plenty of comfortable seating.

The grassy courtyard is sheltered and remains calm even on windy days. On warm days, opening all the glass doors transforms it into the perfect area to spend time with friends and family.

Additionally, a pier and swimming ladder are provided by the lakeside, where the water gently slopes with a firm bottom, making it safe and enjoyable for children.

We recommend you arrive by car as it will give you much freedom to explore and enjoy the beautiful area

★ HOT TUB ★
The wood-fired hot tub is available at no extra cost although it does need to be filled and heated which takes in total approximately 4 hours. It is very important to make sure the tub is completely filled before lighting a fire (otherwise the stove will break). We have very clear instructions and are able to assist you if necessary.

★ CLEANLINESS ★
The well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out.

★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★
