A long paved drive allows for plenty of parking with an additional two to three spots underneath the home. Here, you'll also find storage space for beach equipment, an outdoor shower, and access to the pool area. The house has an elevator that runs from the carport to the top level. A volleyball court in the backyard rests between the pool area and the sound. There are three levels of furnished decks, all of which offer magnificent views in all directions. The hot tub sits on the first-level deck overlooking the pool area.
3's a Charm hosts six primary bedrooms, each bedroom has a DVD-capable television. Bedroom number one is on the first level with a TV and access to the first-level deck leading to the pool area. Across the hall is a movie room with a library of DVDs and plush, comfortable furniture. Next to that, you'll find a pub-style pool room with a wet bar, a sink, a full fridge, a TV, and sliding doors that lead to the deck.
The second level of the home contains four bedrooms. All of the rooms are spacious and carry their own individual beach flare. Rooms two and three have TVs and ocean views, and the next two have TVs and sliding doors that access the second-level deck.
Reaching the top level, you'll find a modern kitchen and living area full of sophistication. Imagine preparing breakfast as the sun rises over the ocean in front of you, only to turn around and make dinner with the sunset spanning the sound-side horizon. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, brand-new countertops, a four-person breakfast bar, and a ten-person dining room table. The final bedroom is just off the kitchen and has a jetted tub, a stand-up shower, and access to the sundeck. Panoramic views of the sunrises and sunsets truly put the cherry on top of 3's a Charm.
3's a Charm is unique in that it sits within a hundred yards of both the Atlantic Ocean and the Pamlico Sound. For vacationers, this provides the perfect dynamic of flexibility between sunbathing on the beach and watersports on the sound.

Nice house in beautiful location with issues
The house was clean except for the windows. They were covered in salt so you got a blurry view. You couldn’t open them to feel the breeze or hear the ocean because there were no screens on them. Several window seals were broken and they fogged up. The view from the decks was amazing. It was a quick walk across the street to the beach. When we arrived, we were shocked to see that the billiard room was empty. There were pool sticks that had missing felt tips and pool balls but no pool table. We contacted Vacasa who seemed surprised there was no pool table. They then told us it was damaged and a new one had not been delivered yet. They refunded us 30 per day for the inconvenience. We appreciated the refund but had 3 disappointed young men with us. The fridge in that room had broken drawers and a streamer of tape across the inside of the fridge to “hold” items in the door. The separate ice machine In this room was broken. On the 3rd floor, one room had a queen bed that was hard. Two outlets in that room were broken. The stovetop kept giving us error messages. It took us 45 minutes to figure out it was the pan. All of the other pans worked fine. The ice maker in the kitchen fridge was broken so you had to go to the 1st floor to get

Property in Horrible Condition - Avoid!
Majority of windows have cracked seals; thus filled with moisture meaning you can't see out of them. Like checking into a jail cell for a week. Ice maker broken in fridge on main floor - solution is for you to walk down/up 2 flights of stairs to get ice! House so dirty made them come out and clean it (including picking up broken glass in the parking area).

Great stay!!!
First trip to the Outer Banks & was looking for somewhere with a beautiful view -3’s a charm did not disappoint! The house had plenty of space for just the 3 of us. In addition to all bedrooms/ bathrooms there was common space including a 2nd tv and game room-the pool table has seen better days, but had a ping pong table top & another refrigerator tv-useful with a bigger crowd. Couldn’t figure out karaoke but WiFi worked. The windows do need some love but you can see out them&there was light in the rooms. From the deck listen to waves & watch kite surfers on the sound! Across the St is a large but manageable dune to climb to a long stretch of beach. The house was clean & comms w/ Vacasa mgt was great. Few questions no issues short 4 day stay -responses were timely & welcoming. One wobbly fan but the rest were fine& ac made it comfortable. The decor was tasteful. The pool (April not heated) needed a little debris cleaning but no matter the view of the Sound is beautiful Didnt use the jacuzzi. Kitchen well stocked & laundry made things easy. Lots of stairs elevator was tricky but useful for those w/mobility issues or lots of stuff. Great location! Hatteras village 5min drive Breakwater for sunset dinner, Frisco just 10 min other direction with beautiful art shop Blue Lagoon, Beads boutique & Tavern on 12.The only thing missing was a pen to write in the guest book but nice lady at Scotch Bonnet fudge (so good) gave me one which I left in the guest book for you.

Needs a Little Love
The positives - This property is in a great location - the sound backs right up to the house and the ocean is just across the street. There was a little grocery store just down the street and there were new sidewalks for running and walking the dog. The ferry to Ocracoke is about 10 minutes away and that was a wonderful day trip. This property uses Vacasa for their rental service. They were pretty easy to work with as far as check-in and responsive to any issues that came up.
The negatives - The views were awesome but most of the key view windows are full of moisture so you really had to look to see out of them. The stove is an induction cooktop, but there were only 2 pots that were induction rated making cooking hard. The house was clean and the descriptions were pretty on point but the kitchen and bathrooms really need updating. The kitchen faucet sprayed everywhere when it was turned on. The dryer literally took hours to dry a load of beach towels. The water pressure was a big issue. The pool water was dirty and the water flow was not good. The pool maintenance folks came on Sunday afternoon to work on the pool, not because we called them but I guess routine? Anyway, after they came everything was in good working order.
Honestly, for what I paid, I expected better. Not trying to be rude, but I read all of the reviews before booking and I wanted to add my 2 cents for what it's worth for other possible renters. I don't think I'd stay here again.
