Weekend Stay

Ivyhouse Lane leading to site dreadful. Parking on site inadequate and in our case to far from accommodation. In order to be able to have swim we would have had to purchase passes at 20 per person for a 3day break. Rather expensive. The bin area was overflowing and in a disgusting state.

Wir haben eine Woche in Gardens 3-Coghurst Hall verbracht. Die Unterkunft war das Mieseste, was uns je untergekommen ist. Unser eigentlich gemietetes Objekt, eine Luxuslodge im gleichen Park wurde seitens FeWo direkt nach 3 Tagen trotz Zahlung storniert. Das war das erste Ärgernis. Es wurde uns dann eine vergleichbare Unterkunft angeboten, für fast den gleichen Preis. Wir fanden eine dreckige Unterkunft vor. Hundekottüten lagen vor dem Haus. Spinnweben überall außen, eine Außentreppe, die mit Ziegelsteinen verlängert wurde. Das Licht in einem Zimmer war defekt. Der Teppich war dreckig. Der Fernseher war defekt. Die Klobrille so locker, dass man fast runtergefallen ist. Es gab keine Terrasse und auch keine Kaffeemaschine. Am letzten Tag hatten wir zu guter Letzt keinen Strom und kein warmes Wasser, was zusätzlich noch ärgerlich war. Nach unzähligen Anrufen schickte der Vermieter eine Putzkolonne, die eigentlich nichts mehr ausrichten konnte. Das Licht wurde nach 4 Tagen repariert. Einen funktionierenden Fernseher haben wir nicht erhalten. Unseres Erachtens hat FeWo direkt eine Verantwortung den Kunden gegenüber. Falls ihr einen Urlaub in dieser Unterkunft plant, Hände weg. Katastrophe und ekelhaft

Short stay to divide the trip back home

The accommodation is on a quite large caravan /lodge park, not really our cup of tea but a nice spot to visit Hastings and the beautiful coastline. Communication via VRBO went really well and correct.Beds could be better and the parking is quite a walk carrying heavy luggage.Stay is between okay and good.
