The new Comfy Cottage is centrally located. Downtown, the high school, Libs Park and Splash Pad, Hastings Museum, Fisher Fountain, the hospital and Hastings Lake are only two minutes or less away. Gas stations and restaurants are one minute away, and you can reach Walmart and the ball complex quickly. There are two king beds, one queen, one double, and a slim XL twin on the window seat, as well as a queen size air bed and couch. Make lasting memories in this family-friendly setting. This century-old cottage maintains much of its original charm-including a squeaky main floor. It has a well-stocked modern kitchen with a brand new dishwasher and dining service for ten. Fluffy towels, Dream Cloud beds with cotton duvets, nightstands with plug-ins for electronics, a sleepable window seat, deck, WIFI, tv's in all bedrooms, blinds, and white noise machines ensure a great stay. Relax in the big soaker bathtub in the master bath! Or have a fun foosball competition in the basement game room! An extension and extra table allow ten to dine. Games and toys for guests' use are provided. We've installed a tankless hot water heater so you won't run out of hot water! There is a picnic table (please understand it is outside and may need wiped down due to storms, etc.) and a furnished deck with a gas grill adjacent to the deck. A portable crib, infant bathtub and high chair are also available. There is off-street parking next to the house for four cars or two large pick-ups. The nearest other parking is 1/2 block away. No pets allowed. The entire house, front and back yards and patios, deck and parking are available for guest enjoyment. There is a smoking area with table and chairs on front patio. No smoking inside the house or on the deck. Remote entry is provided with access codes. The cleaning people and property manager handle any emergencies. This area is within walking distance to Hastings Museum and the Lied Super Screen, as well as the high school and several eating establishments. It's central location provides easy access to many Hastings activities, but means that it is on a busy street. The large back yard is fenced and there are deadbolts for safety. The house is on 12th street and near Burlington Avenue. It is easy to get to anywhere in Hastings from this location within a few minutes. Off-street parking is provided on the property. There is no side street parking for half a block. It feels like home here-from the cozy front room and dining room, to the well-designed and comfortable bedrooms including two on the main floor and two upstairs. This house has so much personality and isn't like every other lodging option in town. A complete kitchen allows for baking, blending, air-frying, and making specialty coffees. There are a variety of pillows to suit your comfort level. The antique phone will delight children and adults alike as they crank the handle to ring the bell! A fenced backyard provides a safe place to play. There is a laundry room in the basement with a folding table, hanging rack, iron, ironing board, and work desk.
