Our trip to this area was great! With just a bit of work the Rundle cabins could be top notch. After registering through Orbitz, the desk clerk put $100 extra on my credit card and was holding it till after inspection after we left-said it may take 5 days to clear. I would prefer final inspection to happen before we check out so we can know that everything is clear. The staff are Asian, and had limited understanding and speaking of English-nice folks but a communication barrier.

We had a pleasant stay at this cabin. I read the reviews before our stay, and was very concerned, but I think someone has been conducting a smear campaign. They are old, and shower was small, but overall very clean and comfortable. Amenities of refrigerator, microwave and toaster oven, with Safeway grocery store 2 miles away, was nice to make our own meal. It is still expensive, but still $100 cheaper than other listings. Location, location. Our next stay in Minot, North Dakota was half as expensive, smaller room, nicer bed, but no atmosphere. Just wish we had not come while there were major forest fires in the area. We missed seeing the beautiful mountains.

Had everything I needed at an affordable price and close to the National parks.

I hate to read all the negative reviews on here. I stay at the Rundle Cabins 2-3 times a year and the staff is always very welcoming. The cabins are always very clean and bug free, I've never seen a single bug during any stay. The cabins are practical and cozy with a little kitchenette and a half bath with shower. You can't beat the value for the price and the location is great - right in between Canmore and the entrance to Banff. Sure it's not the Ritz or a cabin that will be featured on HGTV but you're in the mountains and if you're looking for a nice clean cozy cabin for a great price then you really should consider staying here. All the pictures are factual and they don't present one nice cabin and surprise you at check in, sure the cabins may be dated but if you want something newer than you can stay at the cabins next door for 3 times as much. I'll definitely be back!

The personal were fine but facility was disappointing. We however were out all day and only there for sleep

Stayed here on my first night with my sisters. the couch pulled into a bed, which there were no sheets for. The nice staff member got me sheets and an extra towel, per my request. My sisters shared the other bed. bathroom was small, and the shower just as small, but it worked. There was a microwave, stove, fridge, sink x2, coffee pot, and tv. Not too far away from Banff and worth it for a short stay.
