Pros:Walkable, good location, felt safe walking around ; Washer/dryer in unit ; Warm blankets ; Keurig & coffee provided ; Responsive host ; Free street parking on weekends ; easy check in & outCons:Unit could use some cosmetic work ; it was a bit cold as the building had central heat/air and it had not yet changed to heat (not the fault of the host, though) ; Bed and couch were not very comfortable ; unit was what I would consider “No frills”- no spices, minimal dishes & cooking utensils, no dresser or place to unpack ; the building was pretty noisy- walls are very thin and could frequently hear other tenants, pets, etc.

Would stay again!

My son and I were finishing up our college visit tour along the east coast and decided to stay here for a couple of days before our return flight home. The apartment was as described and it was nice to be able to wash all of our clothes before our departure. Here are a few improvements that I would suggest: - FANS! The central air doesn't cool the space effectively so ground or ceiling fans would go a long way. - Lamps. The space is lit up brightly with track lighting but nothing offers soft light. A simple lamp in each room would offer a softer ambiance in the evening. - Ice Maker. The refrigerator offered an ice tray that wasn't filled. It would be better equipped if it had an automatic ice maker for guests to enjoy. Also, the fridge door opens the wrong direction. Lastly, if you elect to park your vehicle in the underground parking lot that is available, be advised that trucks and large SUV's can't enter or exit the garage without scraping the top of the vehicle. Park at your own risk.
