Finding the parking was a bit challenging. But I was welcomed at the front desk enthusiastically. I was really happy that I chose this hotel because the room was awesome. It had a loft-style bedroom so it felt more like an apartment and a hotel room. Being that I stand hotel rooms almost every night that I conduct business, I really appreciated it being a bit different. Had huge Windows across the back and I really appreciated the little gift bag with water and snacks when I checked in. The staff was outstanding! The hotel room was really nice and very very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at the Residence Inn in Hartford. The staff was very good ! From the man at the parking to the ladies at the check in. They were friendly and helpful. The hotel was located across the street from the wedding we attended. The rooms are large and comfortable. This is a nice place to stay if you are going to Hartford.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel from the last week of February until the last week of August of this year and it has been an amazing stay for us. All the staff are very friendly and very accommodating -- from the front desk to the housekeeping and kitchen staff... staying in a place far away from home could've been lonely for us but how could one be lonely when you're surrounded by people who genuinely care about you, would greet you a good morning with a warm smile, or would make sure you have all the things that you need in your room? Breakfast everyday is fresh and hot, there's coffee anytime of the day, and some food Mon-Wed nights(potato salad is delicious!)... I love the chocolate chocolate chip cookies and the waffles.... the rooms are huge and homey -- and I love the kitchen!! I was even able to bake macarons, cakes, and cupcakes during my stay here! 😊 Regards to Kadeen, Joel, and Caroline Maria when we were at the 7th floor and Ana when we moved to the 6th floor for the rest of our stay Janet and Ms. Val and everyone else whose name I forgot but know by face 😀 you're all amazing! 😊

While the rooms are large they are awkwardly laid out. You walk into the kitchen area that is quite adequate . But past that on your left are 5 or 6 steps up to a bathroom and open bedroom that overlooks the lower level. Continuing past the steps on the entry level is a narrow long walkway past the upper bedroom to a desk area then left turn to living room (that wraps around the other side of bedroom). Disjointed! The soundproofing is almost non existent. Breakfast is included and is pretty good.

We stayed in a one bedroom suite. Very spacious with the bedroom and ensuite situated on an upper level making it a seperate and private area from the kitchen and living area below. Great breakfast area with a wide selection to choose from, as well as complimentary dinners. Many thanks to Joel on reception for his help and friendly manner. The same applies to all staff we came across on our six day stay.

I've been to this location numerous times on business trip for days at a time. Joel is amazing always willing to go out of his way to make our stay that much better. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that's looking for not only a beautiful stay but a family-style environment from the dinners each night to the great drinks next-door.

I reserved a 2-bedroom suite for one night at this Inn. This suite was enormous! It even had an upper level to it! My kids loved staying here! This was the best hotel room we have stayed in....ever. Parking is available behind the hotel in a garage or on the surface. They layout of the hotel is perfect and made our stay so much fun. Oh, and it is connected to City Steam Brewery which has great eats and beers! I will stay here any time I am in town.

My 685th night in a Marriott property was a full blown home run! I didn't have a destination but saw a baseball stadium all lit up and a Residence Inn nearby so I stopped in. I got a king room in the 'loft style' and it was great and different. The loft was an elevated bedroom area that separates the kitchen and living room areas. I liked it. The staff was super at the front desk. I ran over to the game to see the Yard Goats (yep, Yard Goats and bought a shirt). There are restaurants and bars nearby, a good location. The all important wifi was solid. If I'm ever in Hartford, CT again, I'm staying there.

I stayed there for a wedding recently and despite the fact that they guaranteed us a room with two beds, we only had one and instead of rollaway cot, were left with an air mattress. The hotel itself was modern and clean. Staff were all super friendly and the breakfast was one of the better ones I have seen for a "continental". I really do not visit Hartford and might try a new place if I ever go back but would recommend for a one night stay.

We were in town for a funeral. This location was convenient for us. We have stayed at many other Marriott hotels over the years. The room was clean and had everything that we expected. The breakfast was way above the normal fare. However, the best thing about this Residence was the helpfulness and the friendliness of EVERY staff member that we came in contact with. Everyone checked to see if we needed any assitance and inquired about how our day was going. A very welcome thing in todays' world. Thank you Residence.
