Beautifully presented hotel in an excellent location. Missing little touches in the rooms like water and quality toiletries. Breakfast used to be freshly made to order and now it is a buffet service. Definitely better the last time we stayed.

Ok let’s start by saying this is not the hotels fault as it didn’t state air con, I didn’t add to filter so my mistake, it wax a hot day and night yesterday so without air con it was simply unbearable in the rooms and the fans supplied were totally useless and so sadly I slept in my car half the night , a real shame as the hotel/ pub/ service is excellent, shame they don’t splash out in air con to upgrade the lovely hotel

Hotel very nice standard double room was ideal for us,as it’s only for sleeping,The Fat Badger bar very nice prices reasonable,lots of seats & tables outside too that was great has we had a heat wave,within walking distance to shops pubs restaurants,although it’s a bit hilly,super park around the corner,all in all had a very enjoyable three nights away.

White Heart is a cracking hotel for staying at Harrogate, situated in good location the room large enough bed comfortable bathroom had over the bath shower it nice to have a room with a bath, great for relaxing after a busy day.

Stay ruined by incompetent and rude staff

Stayed here for one night here, room was nicely done out but the bed was very small and saggy at the ends. There was no air conditioning in the room and the window wouldn't open properly, it was a hot weekend so it made for a very uncomfortable night. The lady who checked us in was very pleasant and asked us what time we would like breakfast the next day (we had prepaid for it). She said it was served until 10.30 so we said we'd like to take breakfast at 10. No problem. The morning arrived and we went down for breakfast at 10 as agreed, only to be greeted by a woman shaking her head saying we were too late and breakfast finished at 10. I explained what we were told at check in and she could not care less. There were a few groups behind us who had the same issue. I was referred to reception and they eventually agreed to refund me but only after essentially saying it was our fault. If we had been alone in this we would probably have accepted we'd misheard at check in, but as mentioned there were several others in the same boat. Mistakes happen, but their attitude stank - lots of eye rolling and head shaking and not a single apology. Basil Fawlty vibes. I must say though that the younger staff were a lot more pleasant throughout our stay, clearly they're yet to develop the true disdain for customers that their colleagues have. Also Hotels.com says the hotel has a pool, it does not. I knew this in advance but people from the area may not realise and will be disappointed.

Very Nice Again

Very nice stay again,we must be in double figures now, very comfortable, excellent location. Good checking in process, only slight criticism was at checkout when there was no thanks, or enquiring if we had a good stay etc. Minor issue though across a very nice visit
