Magníficas vistas desde nuestra 2 dormitorios bien equipadas, cómoda casa familiar

Taransay Cottage es una casa unifamiliar de estilo chalet de un solo nivel de dos dormitorios con vistas cautivantes a lo largo de las playas y colinas de Harris, incluyendo la isla de Taransay de la que tomó su nombre. Hay 1 x Habitación doble y 1 x Habitación doble (cuna y cama plegable también disponible) Cuarto de baño con ducha doble (sin bañera, pero las instalaciones para bañar a los niños pequeños incluidos) cocina que conduce bien equipados a través de un comedor que también tiene 2 sillones ( que por lo general se convierten en los asientos más populares de la casa) desde donde se puede disfrutar de las vistas sobre una taza de café. El amplio salón cuenta con cómodos asientos, más grandes vistas, libros y juegos y un gran televisor. La casa se encuentra a 5 minutos a pie de la primera playa y hay muchos más para elegir todos accesibles a pie. A true gem of a cottage

This was a wonderful cottage, the best in which we had ever stayed and we have stayed in a lot! The location only 5 minutes walk from a stunning beach and within walking distance of at least 2 others was fantastic. The cottage was spacious and was equipped with everything you could have possibly needed. The view from the front windows was so lovely. Local people were very friendly.

Super home in south west Harris

We’re repeat visitors to this lovely house and it never disappoints. It’s warm, comfortable, well equipped? quiet and in a super location. Would thoroughly recommend. It’s an easy walk to beautiful beaches and the Temple and an easy drive to even more beautiful beaches. Beautiful views across the Northton salt flats to the Harris hills/luskentyre. 5 minute drive to Leverburgh for shops/restaurant/ferry to Berneray.

Beautiful setting looking out on the sea and magnificent hills. Inside it was spacious and very well equipped. There were just two of us but it would be perfect for a family.

Delighted with finding this place, even better than we expected, with every comfort & possible thing you can think of with the exception of an outside tap! 3rd visit and we still love it!

Just visited Taransay Cottage for the 3rd time and we've enjoyed it as much as the first time we went. It's a beautiful cottage, great location, near to beautiful beaches. We can't fault it and look forward to returning soon.

Stunning views. Wonderfully equipped

It would have been perfect, if the door had been open when we arrived. We were told that it would be open with the key on the inside of the door. It wasnt and after a 7 hour drive arriving at 9.30pm. Communiction with the host is lacking.

Gorgeous, spacious house, with beautiful views, in a great location!

This was the first time that the place we'd booked turned out to be even more beautiful and spacious than it appeared in the photos! A 10 minute walk from a gorgeous beach, mobile grocery delivery, a lovely coffee shop down the road, a sustainable local stall in the other direction, just steps from the cottage, with a view of a beautiful mountain and bay from the living room and kitchen. This house has just about every amenity and extra you could want. Thank you for a brilliant stay, and we look forward to coming back in the future.

Beautiful Relaxation

As somebody who has been visiting Harrs for 50 years but finding prices in the places we know so well rising beyond our means for every visit, this was perfect. Lovely house with loads of space for 4 adults, large living room, large well equipped kitchen and that amazing view from the dining room and living room. Less famous than Luskentyre and Seilebost, Northton is a great place to stay with amazing views, four deserted beaches in easy reach as well as wildlife (we saw otters, golden eagles and porpoises) and the Temple Cafe is a lovely wee daytime local overlooking the salt marsh, serving the best coffee ever and will also do you a wee Harris G&T. Highly recommended place to stay.

Great property in south Harris

Lovely, spacious, well equipped property in a quiet location with great views. Very handy for the shop and ferry port in Leverburgh and close to the main road for venturing further north. Would definitely go back
