The property has a very nice atmosphere of the olden days. It is quiet. The outside space, including the pool and fruit trees (yummy guava), is really pleasant. We stayed in the Lola y Juan suite, which was nice....except that there is now a large and awful sofa and coffee table plonked in the middle of the living room area, such that the area is cramped and the overall period decor is spoiled (the photo shows the room without this furniture). My other complaint is that the property is advertised as breakfast included, however this is not the case, and we were not told until the evening after we checked in. Finally, although this didn't bother us, the hotel is completely unstaffed, including on arrival and checking in.
