We have now stayed at the Village Inn of Hardy on two separate occasions. The rooms, though a little outdated, are very clean and provide all the overnight necessities. On the down side, we had to walk through snow to get to our room, as the sidewalks had not been cleared. Also, my husband had to stand in freezing temperatures and complete check-in through a small window, as the lobby was locked. Obviously these are only wintertime (and external) woes. Once we were in our room, all was well.
Got to the hotel as we were travelling in north part of Arkansa. It was a night sleep. The hotel was nice and the staff friendly. It is not what you'd call a very HQ hotel but was enough and satisfactory for our purpose. Very humble facility as can be said on breakfast.
This trip I took because of the death of my sister. The front desk was amazing said prayers for me and my family during the loss of my sister. This is the best place in Hardy the rooms are great as well as house keeping staff. I will only stay here. I do get up here alot
I did not expect much and that is what I got - a run down MOTEL!
nice hotel for the price need to upgrade the beds. mattresses way to thin and uncomfortable
Mostly disappointed with my stay. Overall impression was that the management is trying desparately to save money. First our room was lacking the bathroom setup--no towels or bath soap. Just the face soap, washcloth and 1 shampoo. Outside down the hall from our room were 4 mattresses leaning against a wall. My son took a bath and forgot to turn off the vent fan in the bathroom. We heard a fairly loud vibrating noise and thought maybe the room upstairs had a vibrating bed--but it was the fan, vibrating when left on too long. Then there was the continental breakfast. It had donuts, english muffins, precooked waffles etc. but no cream cheese or peanut butter. They did have a fresh type strawberry mixture. It was the nicest thing there.
