We stayed one night. Rooms are large but a bit old, would need some refreshing. Staff at front desk was very cold and unpleasant even. Breakfast buffet selection is good. Location is great too with easy parking.
The neighborhood was questionable. In the parking garage, there were kids drinking in the stairwell. We had a suite that had a double, a single, and a trundle. The WC was more like one on an airplane. Was ok for one night but I would not stay there again. Breakfast was the nicest thing about the hotel.
Stayed on two separate occasions this trip. We visit Hannover regularly and keep coming back here.... it is a two minute walk from the train station. Rooms are comfortable, love the beds, plenty of hot water, separate bath and shower. The negatives for me are that you have to step up into the bathroom and toilet which is difficult for people with mobility issues, the toilet is very tiny, and the bathroom has French doors which don’t meet in the middle so potential privacy issues, depending on who you are sharing a room with. They ask guests to reuse towels, which I am fine with, but the towels provided should be suitable to reuse, not threadbare, and there should be sufficient hanging space to hang towels out to dry before you need them again. Haven’t tried the breakfast as it is expensive, and there are many food options at the train station which are open 24 hours.
The room was rather large and comfortable, comprising of a large table, desk, sofa, kitchenette, and bathrooms. The kitchenette comprised of a kettle, microwave, and fridge - this was rather useful. The bathroom was impressive with a separate bath and shower, and a separate toilet which also had a sink. The gym is small but open 24/7 which is nice, it also contains a vibration plate which was interesting!
Tiny reception desk and restaurant for a big hotel, the room is clean and comfy but there is no one on my floor, the location is near a train station which mean you will get anything you need in just a minute walk...but there are many homeless in that station area which is just the opposite of the hotel. They all drunk and they all loud, i dont know if it is because the worldcup fever or not but they seems drunk when German team defeated. The parking building also near the hotel and it is cheap...3 euros for one night..never find such a cheap parking in whole europe. The breakfast is standard ,egg and sausage and bread nothing special and tasty bout it.
Stayed in may/June 2018. Hotel was very clean and well set out. Everything was clear and easy to organise. We are a family 2 adults and 2 children (8&7), the room was spacious and well equipped for us. The hotel staff were great from the moment we checked in to when we left. They made us feel so welcome especially Mike Anders who went above and beyond to keep our children happy with late night slushy drinks, thanks It’s location is great and We highly recommend staying here.
Room was very spacious, with one double and one extra bed. Everything was clean. Services in the hotel are not on the same level as other Novotel hotels, i.e. breakfast buffet food/utilities were not refilled in time, room service was missing also to refill everything. Location is close to city centre, but you need to walk via main railway station. And Hannover main railway station is far, far from a nice place to walk by due to a big number of strange people. There is a construction site in front of the hotel taller than a hotel itself, which is completely blocking room view.
Stayed in two four berth rooms - after a mix up in room we stayed two nights in these spacious suites with everything we needed. Microwave, fridge, sink area separate from bathroom, bathroom with bath and shower, good tv , desk. Downstairs with kids area, friendly staff. Central location beside train station. Quiet rooms.
While we usually stick to booking Novotel properties on short trips after this visit I will seriously re consider our choice going forward . The rooms were hot - temperature wise with the heater on inspite of the outside temperature being more than 18 c . When we checked about turning the air con on they claimed to have NO air conditioning. I also found the service at check in quite unwelcoming .. rooms are clean however
Just stayed here for a couple of days checking in was quick and pleasant, small issue with the rooms was sorted very quickly. We had 2 rooms for 2 adults and 4 kids the adults had a good sized bed and one kid in each room had a single bed the other a single bed which pulled out from under the adults bed. Separate toilet from shower room was excellent. The hotel is well located moments from the main train and bus station.
