We had a wonderful 6 night stay at Tuckers Point. The entire team was a great help in making this a great visit to Bermuda and Tuckers Point. The Restaurants Managers made sure a couple special dinners were just that and we were blown away by the Sunset to Stargazing beach dinner. The rooms and property are wonderful as well. Housekeeping was very accommodating with housekeeping and turn-down service. The Concierge Team is GREAT! As good as the staff is it is clear they are motivated and guided by a very good management team that leads by example. From the GM to all of the folks making sure we did not need anything at the pools, in the room or on Point Terrace, everyone we interacted with provide superb friendly service in a consistent yet personal manner. Managers seamlessly supported there teams as needed to ensure guests had an exceptional experience... and we did!
We stayed here for 4 nights for a work trip. The rooms were excellent with all of the amenities of a 5 start resort. We had Room 508 and it was excellent! Great view of the water and one of the pools. The Beach Club was extremely nice and worth the shuttle trip. This is the only place we will stay when we go to Bermuda.
Went here for our babymoon since it's basically the only tropical destination close to the east coast that doesn't have Zika. We never really considered Bermuda previously, but were really happy we came. We had a poolside manor room with a private pool cabana that was really nice. The room was very spacious, and while it could use a freshening, we found it quite nice and had no complaints. The food was good, our favorite was Sul Verde, the Italian place with the wonderful antipasti buffet bar. The golf course was decent, some great views, but the greens weren't in the best shape and the rough wasn't well maintained. The service was fantastic. Everyone that worked there was genuinely friendly, and would go over and above for any and all requests. There's one downside to Bermuda at large, and that's the cost of food. Regardless of whether or not you eat at the resort or go into town, expect to pay $22-25 for a cheeseburger and most entrees are in the upper $30s on the low end. Normally this isn't a huge deal when you're on vacation, but it can get a bit tiresome. It's of no fault of Bermuda, they're literally a rock in the middle of the Atlantic, since everything needs to be imported. But it's certainly more expensive than a "normal" Caribbean vacation. Overall, if you're looking for some peace and quiet, then Rosewood Tucker's Point is your spot. It's removed on the island so don't expect any action. So long as you know that going into it you'll have a great trip.
We stayed 4 nights at the Rosewood and had an amazing time! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was beautiful, and we stayed in a Deluxe Manor House room which had an amazing soaking tub with doors that open out so that you can see the ocean. The room was huge and very well decorated. Between the restaurants on site, the 2 pools, and the Beach Club you don't even necessarily have to leave the property. The Beach Club was amazing - we did rent a scooter one day and visited several other beaches, but felt that the beach club (with the chairs and service) was so perfect. We will definitely be coming back - this was a little bit of a splurge compared to the other hotels (We've stayed at the Fairmont South Hampton and felt that this was so much better). It's also a very short ride (less than 15 minutes) from Airport but you don't hear any noise. Truly a wonderful vacation!! Can't wait to go back!!
My wife and I recently enjoyed a very relaxing and restful few days at the Rosewood Tucker's Point. Everything about our experience was exceptional, especially the service/staff. Our room opened out onto the pool with our own sitting area which was lovely - highly recommend these 1st floor rooms.
Great property ...but the foid service is very very slow. The resort hotel rooms are beautifully appointed. With lush carpets, beautiful views of the water. The spa is a must see. Love the croquet lawn for weddings.
We chose Rosewood Tuckers Point to host our destination wedding and subsequent honeymoon. We had 33 guests attend, and all but 4 stayed at Rosewood. Everything was outstanding! The entire team at Tuckers Point was simply amazing - front door valet / bellhop, front desk, housekeeping, room service, pool servers, restaurant servers, bar tender, and everyone else who helped make our wedding, honeymoon and families stays over the top. Everyone loved the entire property and all the people that make it great! we can't thank you enough! We travel extensively and this has to be in the top 3 properties we have stayed at. Top of the line service, amenities, people and location make this a must see destination. We are definitely going back and are looking at the fall already! Thank you to everyone who made this dream actually come true!
My husband had a medical meeting and we turned it into a short family vacation . There's really nothing negative I can say. The main hotel is beautiful with a casual but elegant British colonial type decor. The staff were all helpful friendly and professional including bell staff , concierges , waitstaff , drivers and front desk . The food at the different restaurants was excellent although expensive . The hotel is not right on the beach. The hotel runs a shuttle to their private beach every half hour. It takes about 5 to ten mins to get there because you have to drive very slowly due to the narrow streets . At the beach there is a restaurant and beach service. The beach itself is beautiful. If we return to Bermuda we would not hesitate to return to this hotel .
Rosewood was beautiful and the staff was wonderful. We enjoyed the private beach, the boating center, the two restaurants, and the pool. All a treat. I highly recommend you spend some time there on your next visit to Bermuda.
AIRPORT PICK UP: Ryan Ball was right there waiting for us after we picked up the bags from baggage claim. He had a sign with our name spelled correctly and even recognized us from our description. He was very personable and efficient. He took our bags and went to get the car. He had already had the car seat rear facing and installed correctly. We were greeted with cold towels and water. CHECK IN: We arrived to the foot of the hill of the Rosewood and the views were absolutely breathtakingly spectacular! I thought I'd seen it all, but this was incredible with turquoise calm waters on one side, rolling hills around us and boats in the distance. We pulled up and were greeted with sorrel (hibiscus tea). We were upgraded to a suite which was perfect so the baby could have her own room and my husband could still get some work done during the nights while she slept. Our room was ready and very clean. The décor is traditional and clean. Everything looked new and well taken care of. ROOM: The room is very big. Even if we didn't have a suite, there is a walk in closet and very large bathroom and a very large patio overlooking the harbor. We were in villa deluxe suite 608/609. It was close to the steps to get up to the manor house and pool. The bed is luxuriously comfortable with luxurious bedding and fluffy duvet. We are used to sleeping in a Tempurpedic cloud supreme, but this bed did the trick. The shower is very large with a wall seat and the best water pressure ever. I didn't know we could get water pressure like that in the islands. Our room was cleaned daily with turn down service at night. Marisa did an excellent job. We had another girl clean our room. She was tall and thin with curly hair and very friendly but I did not write her name down. I'm sorry I can't remember. She did an excellent job. RESTAURANTS: The Point is our number one choice. Definitely gourmet dining. We have been to many Michelen rated restaurants and two 3-Michelin star retaurants. We would rate this at the top along with those. My two favourite dishes were from Tucker's bar which you can also order from while sitting at The Point. My husband had the lamb and he said it was so good he would have it again. The baby had the pumpkin soup and she drank the whole cup. I had the Bermuda's Harvest snapper over the roasted plantains and the Gerry's take peas and rice. Soooo good. We also ate at the Sul Verde. I highly recommend the antipasto buffet. It was incredible with a ton of variety. Even the baby enjoyed it. She ate a puff pastry with sausage inside. I had the red snapper. Sur Mer is also excellent with a gorgeous beach front view and a delicious menu. I recommend the tuna tartare for an appetizer and the earth bowl for lunch. Thank you to Charity for entertaining Jacqueline. She made her laugh so hard. Thank you to Dora for being so thoughtful and anticipating our needs. Thank you to Andrea at the Italian restaurant for letting her play with her watch. Thank you to Camilo for helping me when I was in a bind. He went to the kitchen to warm up some milk for the baby. GYM: we normally workout daily on vacations but with the baby, not so much. But, I did check it out and it is good enough to do a full workout with cardio equipment and enough weight equipment and free weights. Cold towels, water and fruit are available. POOLS: The harbor pool is more of a quiet pool and nice if you are staying in a manor suite in front of the pool where you get a day bed assigned to your room. The main pool is an infinity pool overlooking the ocean and hills and has a fountain in the middle. the baby really enjoyed this pool. They were always clean and heated. Thank you to Kevin and Robin for coming to our rescue when the baby fell on her face. She suffered a few abrasions on her lip and nose and they rushed to her assistance and brought her ice and towels and water. Kevin tried to make her laugh and brought her a ball to distract her from the pain. I really appreciate it. Robin called to follow up the next day. BEACH: It is a hike to the beach, but we got a golf cart which helped a lot. The shuttle comes on the hour and on the half hour. His name is Roger and he is usually punctual. The beach is white powdery sand with red speckles making it look pink from a distance. There is a little harbor beach which is better for babies with no waves and shallow water. That is right behind the villas. She enjoyed this beach a lot. She could walk in by herself and test it out without us holding her. The sand is very clean and no stones or rocks in the water. very little seaweed. you don't need swim shoes. SERVICE: They definitely are a five star hotel with all the amenities and know how to deliver luxury service. Most people you deal with know how to get things done, but it is the islands, so sometimes the ball gets dropped. We had some bumpy service here and there but nothing that wasn't fixed immediately. Thank you to Esan Frederick. He definitely understands customer service inside and out and we felt very well taken care of. He catered to all our needs and made us feel special. We are happy to have met him.
