We totally enjoyed our visit to this area and this location was very convenient. Our host, Fran, made our arrival very special by providing fresh flowers, fresh peaches from a local orchard and fresh zucchini bread, and there was plenty of ice which was very much appreciated with the heat. The home was clean and nicely decorated. Extra blankets were in the closets. We all agreed the air conditioning unit was extremely quiet. The kitchen had a wide selection of dishes, cooking pans, and utensils. Fran even offered to bring other pans if we wanted to bake. It was easy to connect to the WiFi. We did not use the TV. There were ample power outlets and lamps.Fran also provided ideas of places to visit beyond the local quilting businesses. Don't overlook visiting the Missouri Quilt Museum while in town. It doesn't look like much from the outside but it was filled with amazing traditional & modern creations and a large collection of textile machines and sewing related toys.
