We did not see anyone at the property our name was on the door and the key was in the room very easy after a long drive. The only downfall was 2 muesli bars a tub of yoghurt and fruit does not make a continental breakfast. All in all a great place to stay.

Awesome spot to stay!

Awesome stay here. Contact free check in handy with 9 pm arrival. Well lit address. Parking 8 feet from the door. Breakfast space very nice and shared with three rooms. I highly recommend this B & B for anyone staying in the Cambridge, NZ area.

I booked one night stay for my daughter as she was travelling down island to Wellington. She really loved the facilities - spacious, clean. The owner was very accommodating and friendly when she told him she would be arriving after their check-in closed. Quiet area and she felt very safe. Her only slightly negative comments were: 1. No soundproofing between the 3 units, so they could hear basic noise from adjoining unit. It didn't affect them, but with a different neighbour it might have been noisy. 2. The breakfast was basic and small - it was fine for them because they don't eat much breakfast but again, others might have expected more.
