Perfect summer cabin! We rented this for a midsummer vacation week and we're so happy we did. Location was ideal, between two major cities (Tampere & Hämeenlinna) with a grocery store just 10 minutes away if needed. The sauna is wood fired and wonderful. Just a few steps down to a semi-private lake, swimsuits recommended but still optional: neighboring cabins were busy over the holiday weekend but we still only saw neighbors at the lake 1-2 times, and not within speaking distance. The fire pit was perfect for roasting sausages, meats, & veggies. Plenty of wood provided! We didn't use the fireplaces indoors, too warm for that, but they were available. Good kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, & microwave plus oven with 4 burner convection cooktop. There isn't any AC but the windows had screens & nights were cool. There was a washing machine but no dryer, we hung laundry on the drying racks & did fine. A little bit challenging to find but directions were good, follow the signs to your house number. Be sure to call or text the day before, host will meet you there to hand you the key & teach a few things about the property.Total win for your holiday if you're looking for a typical mökki experience.

Perfektes Cottage für entspannten Urlaub

Sehr gemütliches Cottage für den perfekten Sommerurlaub. Uns hat es in Kalliokoivu an nichts gefehlt. Großzügiger Wohnbereich, 2 große Schlafzimmer, saubere Küche mit allem was man braucht. Holzofensauna und angrenzenden Kaminbereich zum entspannen. Es gibt 2 Außensitzbereiche und eine Grillhüte. Der angrenzende See ist perfekt zum Baden geeignet da keine großen Boote vorbeikommen können. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Schönes, ruhiges Domizil

Schönes Cottage mit viel Platz und wunderbarer Umgebung. Sauna und Bad mit kleiner Kaminniesche im unteren Bereich läd zu langen Saunaabenden ein. Küche ist mit allem Notwenigen ausgestattet und grenzt direkt an den großzügigen Wohnbereich mit fantastischem Ausblick an. Zwei weitere Hütten in direkter Nähe.
