Was on a tour as a musician, stayed in Lindtner. Apart from the standard service and a lovely room with green view and long beatiful curtains, I was pleased with the job done by personnel, incl.very active and helpful housekeeping people, as well as the reception which provided a separate room for practising my instrument. I was also allowed to play piano in the lobby area, which is not always allowed in other hotels due to special reasons. So staying in his hotel was surprisingly enjoyable for me also from the point of view of a professional musician!
Though the location and name of the hotel suggest to be in Hamburg it is not. The rooms are fine. A bit small. The shower has built in restrictors to limit the water flow to save on water consumption. Showering takes longer. The internet is free but slow and at times not accessible. The beds are good. The food is excellent.
We spent the night here before a cruise with MS Europa and were extremely pleased with the service and ambiance. Also a plus was plenty of (free) parking, since we arrived with our car, and quiet location outside the city. We had an executive double on the 3rd floor facing the trees at the back of the property, so it was extremely quiet, even with a wedding and golden wedding anniversary going on. The room was very large(with a great seating area including a chaise), plenty of storage space and generous bathroom with tub (which I had requested). We had a casual dinner in the bar/atrium area, which was very good, very nice wine list and service did not suffer due to the other events. We had some trouble with our WiFi (due to our room location and very thick walls). Help arrived immediately, with a new router/repeater. Problem solved! Breakfast is not included in the price but had everything you could ask for, with a combination of multiple buffets, fresh pressed juices, high quality ingredients, and made-to-order items as well (egg dishes, waffles, etc). We will definitely be back!
Super friendly staff, super clean and well equipped room, clean bed linens and towels. They also provide free charge for electronic vehicles which was quite handy for us. There are a few bars inside the hotel including beauty bar.
This luxurious hotel is very elegant and classy. Afternoon tea, music nights etc. Nice rooms but the bed was a little soft for my liking. I like the various breakfast but the staff was a bit stiff and unpersonal. Otherwise the staff was great. Nice meeting in the reception and also at the spa. Located quite a bit from city centre but you can take the s-bahn from Heimfeld.
Me and my girlfriend had two amazing days at the hotel. Very friendly staff, nice rooms (Superior) and absolutely lovely wellness area. And last, the breakfast buffet, so luxurary! ;-) We can absolutly recommend Lindtner.
We enjoyed the facilities and the level of service very much and it would have been a full 5 out of 5 if only the entrée at the Lilium restaurant (one of two in the hotel) had not been so terrible. We had an entrée and a dessert. The dessert was fine, but the crayfish platter tasted absolutely horrendous. It was simply inedible. I was very disappointed, as I had expected so much more from a restaurant in a five star hotel. Therefore, only 4 out of 5.
This hotel was probably one of the most classy hotels we have stayed in. From the moment we parked, we were treated like royalty by the staff. A man came to our car to help with the bags whilst a door man held the door open. You walk into the lobby and soft harp/piano music is playing. We were shown to our room which was spacious and clean. Whilst staying we went to the hotel bar where we had a few drinks and played some cards. The bar tender was absolutely wonderful. Going out of his way to help is. Our phone died and before we knew it, he had gone to find us a cord. When we found out we were from Australia, he insisted we tried the hamburger as the meat was from Australia. Very lovely indeed. The breakfast room was nearly unbelievable. It had anything and everything you could have imagined in what appeared to be like a ball room (it had chandeliers etc). The only negative is this hotel is slightly out of the way and you need to drive everywhere.
Nice green location, requires own transportation. Tesla charger available. Hotel staff are polite and helpfull. The room seemed a bit worn, but all in all a good stay. But five stars seem a bit overrated.
Very luxurious hotel located 15 min from Hamburg centrum. Very friendly and service minded staff. We stayed in a spacious executive room and it was very nice. Beautiful interior and all you needed. Very nice and comfortable bed. The hotel have two restaurants and a small lobby bar. The hotel also offers exclusive spa and treatments etc. Little expensive but also very high standard. Worth a visit and I for sure recommend this hotel for several occasions.
