I arrived late in the afternoon, I was received by a good concierge. who took my suitcases into the hotel and parked my car. At the front desk I was received by a very good and professional girl. she told us about the hotel's faculties and where the resturants were. It's a gorgeous hotel with perfect service everywhere, everyone is smiling and helpful. The spa area is good and the resturant makes top class food. I will definitely come back to some splendid days at the Park Hyatt

Having stayed at the Park Hyatt Hamburg 3 times over the past 19 years (first was in 1999, 2nd in 2015 and last was 2018), the thing I most appreciate is the consistency of the experience. The people (front desk, concierge, housekeeping and Club Room staff) were all extremely friendly and wanted to help ensure everything was taken care of. One of the coolest things at the Park Hyatt Hamburg is the Indoor, underground pool and spa set up. The location is fantastic and within easy walking distance to stores, restaurants, bus, train and subway facilities as well as several key sites to visit. Despite staying in some pretty great hotels around the world, I would have to say that the Park Hyatt Hamburg is my favorite and the only place I'll stay when visiting Hamburg, Germany. Thank you.

As a non-business and non-wealthy traveller I’ve never stayed in a hotel like this. The overall service is excellent. You have a real feeling of being welcome there. The atmosphere is friendly, comfortable and cozy.

I stayed one night at Park Hyatt Hamburg on May 10, 2017. Rate was 208,25 Euro, breakfast not included. Unfortunately my luggage got lost when flying to Hamburg. So I arrived at Park Hyatt Hamburg by taxi without my belongings at about 9pm. I just bought at an airport shop underwear and a shirt. The arrival was a little annoying. Although there were two bellboys on duty at the entrance area they didn’t care about arriving guests. They were just talking to each other and as it was my first visit at Park Hyatt Hamburg I didn’t know that reception was on an upper floor. So I went to the bellboys who pointed with their fingers to the elevators and didn’t even interrupt their private conversation. What a bad first impression. Anyway: this was the only bad experience I had during my stay. At reception I complained about the bad welcome and got a complimentary bottle of wine as an excuse. I also told the receptionist that I need an overnight laundry service for the underwear and the shirt bought at the airport. Finally I requested a battery charger for my mobile and all cosmetic articles one needs when staying overnight. So I got my keys for room 730 (but wasn‘t guided to the room – this could be better). The room was quite cosy and very well in shape. Within a few minutes housekeeping arrived collecting my belongings and bringing all the things I requested. A few minutes later the bottler of wine arrived with a nice card of the reception staff. Well done. I had a good night and got my cleaned clothes on time. I don’t remember the price but it was fair calculated. Breakfast at the restaurant was good and there was a generous buffet but it was a little overcrowded and noisy. In total I was satisfied. Of course they still could improve service a bit (welcome at the door, guidance to the room and maybe using additional rooms for the breakfast) but the handling of my complaint was good and so I rate Park Hyatt Hamburg with four Tripadvisor stars: very good.

This is a very nice hotel in an excellent location. The rooms are nice and clean, and the service is excellent. There are, however, a couple of issues. First, the food, both in the restaurant and romm service, is mediocre, although the continental breakfast is better. Second, reflecting the age of the building, there are too few outlets, especially near the bed. I travel with a medical device and had to move a piece of furniture and unplug the lamp to plug it in.

The hotel is located very centrally in the heart of the city, easy access by train, car. It is in the busy shopping area, but has a quiet access on a street for cars. The building was built as a bank, offices. Solid building, lobby is on an upper floor accessible by elevators. Lots of wood in decor. Hallways on guest rooms floors are wide, nice. Central atrium view. This is one of the only Park Hyatts that offers a club lounge. It is well furnished. Dining/restaurant is huge. Many details missing in rooms, restaurant service, concierge service, front desk service. Not quite up to par of a normal Park Hyatt. Otherwise a good place. Concierge is not transparent - gave us wrong directions to a place, compelled to buy tickets from him, without declaring there is a surcharge. Breakfast buffet is expansive but missing something - Buffet bar is 3 tiered serving plates - difficult to reach the back rows. Access is not hygenic as people clothing touches in trying to reach the back side. In hot food, simple offering like some sort of potatoes is missing. When asked the stressed out chef, he said it will cost 7 euros for potatoes because he has to make a special effort to prepare something. When asked one of the servers for a Bread pretzel which was lying in the back, she said she is not authorized - we have to ask another person. Lot of congestion points at the breakfast buffet - not well staffed as dishes pile up on tables not cleaned while guests are waiting to get a table. Room - missing basic amenities like toothbrush, slippers. As a globalist, stayed in a suite. Bathroom had no door on it. Poorly designed bathroom with spartan amenities. Hotel did provide a nice welcome amenity - fruit chocolates. Room/suite was large. No view though - looked in the inner side view of other windows. There was a dining table, but no desk space to work. Not easy to find outlets to plug in devices or laptop or a place to work. Service in the club lounge was ok, not great. Not a good place to serve snacks. It was busy.

Hotel is very nice. Even though I reserved a Club room, I took one on the 6th floor. These rooms have more windows and higher ceilings. The rooms facing Moenckeberstrasse are actually fairly quiet. The ones facing the entrance have a view of the building right across the street. The hotel is located two short blocks from Hamburg Hbf. A Galeria Kaufhof is located next door and the Media Markt store is across from the Galeria. The Galeria has a supermarket in the basement and there is a Rewe supermarket open 6-days-a-week in the Hbf.

In many ways does exactly what’s expected. However the access, and location in a mall of sorts, with lobby on the 2nd floor and the need to change elevators is bothersome. Also the decor and layout is slightly below expectations. I did not have time to use or visit the Spa and recreational facilities so couldn’t comment on that. The service is professional and to the point but not overwhelming. I guess it could be a cultural element also. Location in the city as such is central and good.

To a non-local like myself, the hotel entrance appears to be in an alley and away from any main roads. However, every taxi in the city knows about it and it lives up to it's Park Hyatt name. The hotel is very well decorated and the room I stayed in was very spacious and comfortable. I, unfortunately, had a view of said alley but I didn't mind because the room itself was great. The hotel staff was very efficient and attentive, incredibly so! The breakfast area was perfectly sized and the selection generous and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the juice selection and especially the honey & banana milkshake. The only drawback (if you can even call it that) is that there isn't much to do right by the hotel though only 15-20' away on foot brings you to an area replete with restaurants.

Very well situated in the heart of Hamburg. Service always top. Breakfast buffet you can find most of things you desire or you can order. Room spacious. Maintains quality through the years. It is like coming back to a familiar place Certainly going back again!
