This is an older property and is currently being updated. There is no AC but the tall window opened. The bed was too firm for me. Excellent breakfast buffet and next to a wonderful restaurant. Just across the street from the central train station, so taking the train from the airport is easy. We opted for a taxi and while it was expensive, we saw many areas of Hamburg. Just one nagging point. Hotels in Europe don’t have facecloths….. ring your own

A decent option for an inexpensive room with the main feature being the location directly across the street from the Hamburg HFB. The room and bathroom were clean, and the bathroom had very new fixtures. The room was extremely small without room for even a luggage rack (none was provided). To sit on the toilet and lean forward a person will risk banging his sternum against the sink. The bed was comfortable. There was a small desk but it had no power outlets nearby so using a laptop wasn’t possible. Breakfast was complimentary and was a good (but only cold) buffet.

Great location for public transport and walkable to many attractions. Rooms are a bit dated, but immaculately clean with a good shower. Great for a short city break or pre-cruise stay. Lack of air conditioning might be a problem in very hot weather, but our room was very airy with high ceiling and huge opening windows with a balcony. Good breakfast buffet.

Location is perfect if travelling from the Central train station; easy walking to shops and restaurants. Friendly staff and nice breakfast. Property itself is very old and in dire need of renovations. Didn’t even feel comfortable to step into the shower. We were on the 1 floor and looking out the window was just looking up into walls and low roof tops. Felt like a prison.

Bathroom was an open section of the room instead of a bathroom with a door. I requested a bill with the address of my employer and they did not provided and ask to request it to Hotel.com. Close to central station and breakfast were the only positive.
