For a short stay we went to Hamburg and stayed at the Lindner hotel am Michel. I was happily surprised by the size of the rooms. The hotel was tidy and clean, good breakfast and within walking distance to the inner city . I highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

Excellent hotel at a great price.Ideally located for the Xmas markets and train stop for the airport. The staff could not be more helpful, the hotel online check in was a great bonus. The room was very spacious and the breakfast was probably one of the best we have had at any hotel we have stayed in.

Just outside of the city center this nice Hotel is found. I stayed here during a conference in the Catholic Academy which was in walking distance of the hotel. The breakfast each morning was quite nice and there was a lot to choose from. The room was excellent and it was nice to see so many television channels present, although I did not have that much time to look at them. A minor disappointment was the WIFI connection. You could choose between a free one (poor speed) or a paid one. Because of my short stay I did not want to pay for it so I had to stick with the free one.

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights on a business trip. I stayed in a twin room which was quite spacious, perfectly decorated and extremely clean and I want to congratulate the directors for that. Front desk was quite helpful and polite. I had a small leak at the bathroom basin, I called the front desk and within 5 minutes they sent the plumber who fixed it. Breakfast had a good variety of food for all tastes. The hotel is located very close to the city centre and is close to a central road where you can have access to public transport and the hopon hop off busses. Also a 2minute walk away there is a place with many restaurants with German, French, Italian and Chinese cuisine. Once in Hamburg I would totally recommend it.

I managed to get a business class room at this hotel for 2 nights in early November at a good price. It seems I had elected to make an online check in and got my key delivered via a machine in the lobby. Whilst this all worked seamlessly I was not made aware of the real internet options. I was on the really slow, not really working at all, until I rang reception and was re-directed to the faster still free (but not advertised as such) option. The hotel is very nice, clean, comfortable, spacious room. Only one criticism, the cost of bottled water is ridiculous. Better to go to the supermarket at the end of the road and save a few euros (per bottle!).

I stayed at this hotel for two nights over the weekend of a family party taking place in Hamburg and picked the hotel as it was reasonably priced and in a good location. I stayed in a standard twin room and the room was great, clean, spacious and good facilities. One issue with the room was that on the Saturday morning I discovered that it was beneath the fitness suite and could hear people running on treadmills which was not ideal but luckily I didn't want to lie in too late. Also on one of the nights (late) I could hear a dog whining in a room above my room and so I called reception, their response was very unhelpful in effect telling me that they could do nothing despite the hour and the animal having been left on it's own for hours. It was frustrating that they told me their customers nights sleep was very important to them but then did nothing when something was stopping that. I had breakfast on the first morning I was there and was disappointed, it was expensive for what it was, there was not enough seats and I ended up with strangers being put on my table so they could get into breakfast and I was not that impressed by what was on offer. There was champagne on offer and maybe that accounted for the high price but for someone not wanting champagne at 8am it was overpriced. The next morning I went 30 seconds down the road to a café and bakery for breakfast. It is in a good central location I walked around some of the main sights in Hamburg and got to them with ease. Taxi services knew the hotel and it wasn't an issue getting around. Overall, this is a good city hotel with good clean rooms and good central location - I wouldn't rush to have breakfast here if I was to stay here again and I would make sure I asked for a room away from the fitness suite!

I stayed for one night during a business trip. It is a fine hotel with friendly staff and a good room size. No doors to bath room - which was a bite odd and with a room to road anyone can basically look in if the curtains are not drawn

Repeat visit but only confirms to me that it is one if the best hotels to stay in when in Hamburg. You can walk to most relevant parts of the city (downtown, St Pauli, harbor front, Schanze) in less than 30 minutes. At the same time the area is really quiet di sleeping with an open window is easily doable. Too many twin single bed rooms for my taste. I prefer a queen or king size even when traveling alone.

Centrally located, rooms a bit dated but clean and large with confortable beds. Room service for dinner was quite limited but the caesar salad was tasty and delivered promptly. Breakfast was good and the wifi was great. Would come again.

In an area of Hamburg I haven't stayed in before but a great find. Good sized comfy rooms with all facilities including good wifi. Lovely bar and fabulous breakfast. Great staff. For dinner there is a great square a five minute walk away with a selection of lovely restaurants.
