An jede Stelle hat man Gefühl das man zu viel bezahlt hat. Frühstück für den Preis ist lächerlich, kalte Würstchen und Frikadellen, alte Croissants usw, usw… In Bad kann man nicht wirklich Kopf abspülen, Leute arrogant und Preis dafür ist der Wahnsinn. Mein letztes Besuch dort.

Stayed in a duplex suite and it was outstanding. The photos on the website don’t do it justice. The view over the Alster is magnificent. The bathroom is vast with a powerful shower and fantastic toiletries by (Malin+Goetz). My 9 year old received just as warm a welcome, with his sofa bed made up, a monster-inspired cupcake, kids robe and slippers. A huge range at breakfast with super-friendly staff who gave my kid the right level of attention.

There were two main issues. The first was a clogged sink in the bathroom along with a leak on the back of the sink that seeped water onto the floor. The sink took a long time to drain. It was almost completely plugged. Another issue was a beeping sound intermittently coming from the room safe. The staff were excellent. The food was also very good. The only issues are noted above.

Le Méridien Hamburg exceeded our expectations with its unbeatable location right by the Alster Lake. The serene lakeside setting added a relaxing touch to our stay, with beautiful walking and biking paths just outside the door. The highlight, however, was the rooftop bar—an incredible spot to unwind with a drink while watching the sunset over the water. The views were absolutely stunning. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and stylish. We appreciated the comfortable rooms, attentive service, and easy access to both the city center and public transport. Whether you’re here for business or leisure, this hotel offers the best of Hamburg in one place.

Restaurant service was bad on night of dinner but got worse for breakfast in morning. Nobody leading the waiting staff going around like they don’t care, on phone at dinner time, lack of customer care, would have expected a higher level when your paying €247 for two without dessert

The hotel was quite expensive for what they offered. yes with the swimming pool/sauna/steam room it's a bonus. 3 pm check-in was missed because of a faulty aircon in the room by an hour. Compensation of free drinks in the bar but just because I have asked for it. One of the lifts was not working out of 3 lifts. Breakfast for me was ok only not outstanding cos I'm vegan. Heritage restaurant did not meet my expectations as the food was over an hour late and barely anything on my plate.

We enjoyed our stay overall. We were disappointed that the elevators on our floor were not working. We wish we had been told this when we arrived. While this was okay for us, I was saddened to see another guest with a walker on our floor. They should have been told and offered a room on a floor with a working elevator. I am surprised that staying there for three nights was broken the entire time.
