Good location with parking, nice clean and quiet rooms. Breakfast has a good selection and the beds are comfortable. :) I really loved the lovely garden wich separates the main road from the hotel. Just next to the garden you can find a good restaurant-bar, also recommended.
Very comfortable hotel near an S train station. Train goes straight to and from the airport. Hotel staff very helpful. Huge wonderful breakfast. Rooms very quiet. Supermarket just across the street. Nice restaurants around the hotel.
Cabo Hotel is, as it says in the title, a clean and honest hotel. The continental breakfast is quite good and the rooms comfortable. However, there is nothing special to recommend this hotel. I choose it because it is very close to the office I have been visiting the past few days.
Just returned from a 3 night visit at Cabo Hotel. A very nice stay. We had room 14, 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The room was really large and the bathroom was nice. All was extremely clean - new towels everyday and cleaning of the room. Our stay included breakfast again a pleasure. The hotel offers parking in garage at additional cost but it was definitely worth it for us. The hotel is centrally located which is great. And luckily the wifi works very well cause there is only German TV. Should I have any "complaints" it would be it was a little difficulty to make reservations via phone as twice they hung up when asking if they spoke English. The problem was solved by email, which was absolutely perfect and quick. I see in an old review that payment couldn't be done by card, which is not the case any longer. Absolutely a good choice for very reasonable funds.
We stayed for one night in the Cabo Hotel. For anyone going to see the Phantom it has to be first choice. 2 minutes walks from the Neue Flora. The hotel itself looks newly built, is in the 2nd row (i.e. behind the main house on the street) so you don't get all the noise from the street (through it was quiet anyway). We had booked a family room for 3 people. It was on the 2nd floor, very clean, light, bright and friendly, the beds were more than big enough. Bathroom with glass roof. Spotless. The breakfast buffet was ample and very varied. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We can definitely recommend it for any trip to Hamburg.
Last week we stayed here - nice, clean, avearage hotel . The room and bath was big (No.12) , we had a sofa for child, the parking place ok , but they don't accept cards - you must pay cash. All in one an average hotel - does not exceed in nothing.
Stayed one night, myself only, in room #20 to attend a job interview in Hamburg. Room was good. one double bed that was actually two singles pushed together. Bed was quite hard. Bathroom was huge (i was amazed at the bathroom size for a euorpean hotel) and clearly re-done recently with all modern up to date fittings etc. Amazing bathroom. Better than my apartment! Staff were helpful, and like most germans.. said their english was not good but it was fine. Breakfast was in a small corner of the lobby but this was adequate. When i went there it was empty.. might be less good if it was crowded. Food was great with an excellent range of cereals, cheeses (even a Camembert/Brie), meats. Price was ok at 85 euro on a tuesday through booking.com i think. Wifi was, i think, 50 cents/hour. A good stay and i would stay there again. I made the mistake of taking a taxi from the main station. was 13 euro, but it was late, dark and i knew it was close to the reeperbahn. Too easy to take the train. It's about 3 stops from the central station and an 90m walk. Very easy.
I stayed at the Cabo Hotel one night, and I was very pleased with it. It was extremely clean, the staff was very nice and helpful, and the breakfast was also great. It is one of the few hotels in Germany with free WIFI, which was really nice. The room was very clean and functional -- nothing too nice, but definitely met my needs. The room had a modern bathroom with shower, and a flat-screen TV. No air conditioning, which usually wouldn't be a problem. It is only a few minutes from an S-Bahn station, and there's a bus stop directly out front. In addition, it's a 15-minute walk to the Reeperbahn area. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers!
We stayed in room 20 for 2 nights, which has a double bed and one pull-out bed. It served the needs of my wife, myself, and our teenage daughter, as we were in town primarily to see Tarzan, just a short walk away at the Neue Flora Theater. The hotel is located so that the adventurous tourist can walk to the waterfront, the Reeperbahn, and our favorite area around Shulterblatt Street (think New York City Greenwich Village) with one restaurant and bar after the next. Positives: The room was big, very clean, and the beds were excellent. Negatives: My wife heard the neighbors 'night activity' quite clearly. (I slept.) The breakfast room is windowless and small, but the breakfast is good. All in all, a positive experience, but we paid dearly, 145 euros per night for a room with 3 beds.
Very simple room, not very modern, but very comfortable, quiet & clean. Not a spec of dirt in the bathroom. 3rd floor room had a window roof in the bathroom that felt nice on a sunny day. Wireless Internet available for free in the room. Within walking distance (5mins.) from S-Bahn station. Good selection of restaurants, bars, cafes in the neighborhood. Laundromat right across the street was very helpful. Nice staff, but would be even better if they spoke a little more English. Breakfast included.
