A stylish and unique hotel

A unique and beautifully laid out suite. The hotel is well situated being close to the main station and in between the main city centre and the Speicherstadt. All of this on top of excellent and friendly service.

Superb hotel, ideally located between and within 10 minutes walk of both the station and Rathaus. The staff were really friendly, helpful and efficient. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I liked everything at and about the hotel. The commitment to design and style was not only attractive and pleasant, but appeared to be genuine and integral, rather than a gimmick or some kind of add-on. I also got the impression that the staff, especially those working in and with the kitchen for breakfast, genuinely enjoyed being there and worked hard to convey that impression. That is not only pleasant for the guests, but reveals a good deal about the hotel and its management. I look forward to staying there again.

Didn’t want to leave!

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I loved it! As a solo female traveller in Hamburg, I felt incredibly safe in this hotel. The reception is 24/7 and a key card is required to access the main hotel door, so that gave an added layer of security. The abendbrot (evening meal), which was included in the price mon-thurs, was such good value for money and was perfect for me when I didn’t want to eat out alone for a big evening meal. The decor was my favourite thing, everything was so stylish, clean and comfortable. So many cute and thoughtful touches in the room. The bar and lounge area were so chilled and nice to have a glass of wine in. Also the spa was amazing value - 2 hours exclusive use for 15 eur, and was beautifully decorated. Finally, location right by the main station was great and also the staff were all so friendly and helpful. I felt really at home and didn’t want to leave! Will definitely be back again :)

Other than the construction next door out of their control, everything else was fantastic. Ease to all transportation, centrally located walking to all the interests. Great staff... I only speak english, the staff all were so very helpful. The stay coyld not have been better.

Large clean, fun and funky designed rooms.

The property was nice, clean and had a fun, funky vibe. There was a kitchen you could access snacks and drinks in 24/7. Service in the night (11:30pm) was slow, and asking for an extra towel was quite a chore, taking 5 minutes and getting questioned why I would need it. Just an odd interaction overall. Everyone was very polite, and if you don’t need an extra towel, I’d recommend the property without reservation.

Henri Hotels aim for elegant quirky style and branding. Lovely reclaimed building, with great tile-work, marble hallways, and brass railings. Staff were multi-lingual, professional and welcoming. Bistro and bar well equipped, fairly priced, and evening salad included in room rate with hot dish specials at a flat price. Great amenities in the hotel (muscle factory fitness room, spa, and laundry. All spotlessly clean. Amazingly central location, within short walking distance of all attractions, churches, the lake and canals. Nearly all of the centre has pedestrian stretches and its very bike friendly. For me, the Henri captured the Hamburg vibe - open, fun, and proud of its heritage. It wasn’t cheap to stay here but it was very good value. I’ll defo go return to this calm, confident but industrious city and Henri hotel.

The staff at the Henri is very friendly. The location of the hotel is great too as many attractions are walking distance from the hotel. The Henri itself offers a decent buffet breakfast and has snacks in the evening available which is very convenient but limited. It is perfect for those travellers who are not too picky and just like a little bite in the evenings. The property is a historic building and has a vintage feel and some vintage furniture. Some things are in need of an upgrade and some TLC. Across the street is a massive construction project which is likely to last well into 2026. Overall a good stay.
