The property is clesn and modern. The service is great and profesdional. The room was clean, very quiet and confortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious, fresh and diversified. The price was very resonable for a hotel of this quality.
Apartment-Hotel Hamburg Mitte, offers everything a traveller can wish for and is a very good choice. The rooms at the city centre side offer afternoon/evening sun and a sunset. It is in a district with many companies 3.8 km from the Haubt Bahnhof. The busstop for bus 112 is next to the hotel and the ride duration is 15 minutes. If travelling with 2 to 5 persons, the best use is made of a group card, the price of which is € 11.80 and which is valid for U-Bahn, S-Bahn, buses and ferries for 9 hours. The travel time to Landingsbrucke is 25 minutes with bus 112 to the Hauptbahnhof and S-3 to Landingsbrucke. S-3 also comes along St. Pauli Station. The group card can be purchased from the bus driver. The distance to a Aldi supermarket is 800 meters and right next to it is a cheap but qualitatively good snack bar, which is frequented by employees of the surrounding companies.
My sister & I went for a little holiday & when we arrived at the hotel we were a bit put off by the look of the balconies. We got out of the taxi & saw the front of the hotel at the bottom & were quite pleased. We entered reception & it was beautiful. Everything inside was perfect. All new & refurbished. The hotel has been upgrading a bit at a time & it seems the outside will be last of the jobs. The staff are very inviting & helpful. The food & drinks are great & at a good price. We couldn't fault it. Really clean & tidy & a super cheap price. It is a little out of the city but not a problem. The bus 112 stops right outside the hotel & you can get to the centre & the port very easily. We would stay again if we returned. Thank You for a wonderful stay.
The hotel is okay, but quite far from everything. There is a bus stop at the hotel which helped, but there are very few restaurants, shopping or entertainment spots nearby. The staff was helpful. There is a nice lounge with drinks and reasonably priced food.
We travelled by car, the underground parking was excellent! The bus stop is near the hotel, 7 stops to the city center, okay. The neighbouring truck station was a bit uncomfortable due to red light steet, but it didn't bother us actually. The food in the lobby restaurant was good. Furniture is a bit torn. Bathrooms have been recently renewed. The balcony was a pleasant profit.
Overall we where happy with our stay, the location is not really exciting as it is kind of in a industry area and there is nothing to do there, BUT the bus stops just outside the door so it is ok. The bar is closed on sundays. The room was clean. I will probably not stay there again because i like to be more central, but i recommend it if the location is not everything :)
Hotel is not far from central city. There is a bus stop at the back of the hotel or walk around 10 minutes to s-bahn(train station). Free WiFi. Nice bar and restaurant. Few things to note : there is no air condition in the room, so for summer travellers you might have to open the door but for winter, there are heaters everywhere. The shower box is quite small Not that much room to move around. No tea or coffee available in the room. They do provide soap, but Byo your own soap and shampoo.
The hotel is near the airport as it's clear from its name, clean and has a free shuttel from/to the airport every 30 min. But the main point is that the hotel is far from the city center so you have to take the bus each time going or coming from city center. Which end service by 12 a.m. Also rooms is not spacious but ok.
Stayed 3 nights in the hotel - 10 -13 July, 2017. Friend and I were extremely pleased to reach the hotel due to the chaos in the city because of the G20 Summit protestors. Public transport badly affected and road blocks made travelling by taxi difficult - assuming one could get one in the first place. However, 2 refreshing beers in the attractive bar area helped the situation considerably. Very friendly and welcoming staff, spacious bedroom with small but perfectly adequate en-suite bathroom with shower. The hotel is in an area that is part industrial, part residential - fairly quiet (normally), especially in the evening. Bus stops very close to the hotel, with an underground station (Hammer Kirche) an easy 15-minute walk. The breakfast room is very attractive, and the range on offer was excellent - buffet style. We found a nearby Greek restaurant which was really good - very welcoming, with first-rate food (very generous helpings) at reasonable prices - with a glass of ouzo included. There is a Chinese restaurant a little closer to the hotel, but we were very happy to return to the very friendly Greek establishment (quite close to the U-bahn station). The hotel has air-conditioning, but only in the public areas, so it was necessary to have the door onto the balcony open overnight. Not a problem, but it did make for greater traffic noise. Unfortunately the bar is closed on a Sunday evening - hadn't spotted the notice on the door - which was surprising, though it was possible to get a drink in the reception area. Overall a very enjoyable stay - Hamburg has lots to offer, though it was limited due to almost everything remaining closed on the Saturday we were there. Lubeck is only an hour away on the train (super-smooth!), and worth a visit, and cafes are open on a Sunday (Market place). Friend's fist visit to Germany - and he really enjoyed it. The hotel is well situated for easy access to the city-centre, and with the very good breakfast on offer you are well set for a day's exploration of Hamburg.
Very spacious, comfortable and clean room with good view, balcony, armchairs, table, and kitchenette facilities. A nice quiet location a little out of town, but within easy reach by bike or by bus which stops right outside. Excellent breakfast.
