Welcome to our lovingly furnished vacation home by the lake, nestled in the heart of the Swedish countryside.

The surroundings, the lake, and activities:

The house is located in the beautiful Bergslagen region, known for its stunning natural scenery with deep forests and numerous lakes—an ideal destination
for fishing, hiking, and mountain biking. The vacation home is situated on Lake Björksjön (Birkensee) with direct access to the lake. From the vacation home, you’ll enjoy a beautiful view of the lake.

For fishing or a trip out on Lake Björksjön, a rowboat and a canoe are available for your use. The lake is mainly home to pike and perch, but even if you just want to swim and enjoy nature, this is the perfect spot. No separate fishing license is required for the lake. The use of an electric motor is also permitted there.

There’s a mountain bike trail nearby. It’s 200 km long in total and winds right through unspoiled nature. It’s divided into 14 different
routes. Whether you prefer long, challenging trails or flat ones, there’s something here for everyone…. About the vacation home:

On-site, we have 5 bicycles, personal flotation devices, a rowboat, a canoe, German TV, and Wi-Fi. Everything is included in the rental price and does not need to be booked separately.

We’ve also thought of our younger guests…
We have two children’s bicycles and personal flotation devices in various sizes. For our very youngest guests, we provide a high chair.
In winter, we have two sleds for sledding fun!

The kitchen is equipped with a stove with oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, and everything else you might need.
There is also a freezer in the shed.

Outdoor area:
The outdoor area features a grill, seating, and two lounge chairs. A spacious patio invites you to sit outside.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and space to spread out with 2 bedrooms. Guests can enjoy a TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker.

very cozy place

we really enjoyed our stay here, it's very cozy, lots of nature life (many birds, our 'daily deer' and more). keep in mind that you have to drive to the next town about ca. 20 min. (we combinded our trips with shopping for daily needs, so no problem). the communication with the owners was very friendly, they helped us with everything needed during our stay, including some recommendations about 'what to do, what to see'. We can recommend to visit the nearby Högbergsfältet right beside the beautiful Yngen lake, a highlight of our stay.

Wir waren über Silvester dort, tolles Häuschen direkt am See. Es war super wir wurde sehr freundlich begrüßt und über Besonderheiten aufgeklärt. Des Weiteren konnten wir uns jederzeit melden und uns wurde sofort geholfen! Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig, genau das was wir gesucht haben. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet es fehlt an nichts, dazu ist das Haus sehr schön eingerichtet! Eisangeln,Schlittschuhlaufen und Schlittenabenteuer (zwei Stück vor Ort) mit den Kindern einfach Klasse. Wir würden uns freuen wenn wir es nochmal schaffen dort unsere Freizeit zu verbringen!

Erholung mitten in der Natur

Ein wunderschöner, ruhiger Ort fernab von Lärm und Hektik.Haben leider eine verregnete Woche erwischt, die kühlen Tage wurden aber herrlich vom Kaminfeuer entschädigt.Die Umgebung mit Hällefors und Kopparberg bietet interessante Holzhäuser und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.Das Haus ist vollständig eingerichtet, der See mit Sonnenuntergang malerisch und die Gastgeber nett und hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank

Fantastisch verblijf in winterwonderland

Het huisje staat direct aan een klein meer en kent veel privacy. Niet in een park. De uitrusting ervan is voortreffelijk, een zeer complete keuken, open haard. In de winter is het een sprookje. Wel 8 km over soms gladde paden naar de hoofdweg.

Ein sehr schön eingerichtetes Häuschen mit Allem was man braucht. Sehr netter Kontackt mit der Vermieterin. Der Platz ist sehr ruhig und idyllisch. Wer Ruhe und Erholung in der Natur sucht ist hier richtig. Wir können es 100% weier empfehlen
