Very basic clean single room, good comfortable single bed. Small television boasting a few Freeview channels. Electric kettle, cup and drinking glass provided together with coffee, tea, milk sachets
Very thin walls, you'll hear all that's happening in the adjoining rooms.
Took a shower in the communal bathroom but no hot water!
OK as a shelter for ONE night.
Affordable option which is ideal for the Piece Hall. No bells and whistles but homely. Small and independant and good to support a local business. Not the ritz but quirky, clean and comfortable.
We booked The Old Post Office Hotel based on it’s nearness to both The Train station and The Piece Hall.. Less than 5 minutes to both. We were greeted by Jackie, who was lively.
Checking in was easy, Jackie and her team were very friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely and clean, the bed was comfy and lots of hot water for a shower. Hotel very convenient location. The pub had a great vibe. Would definitely recommend and would stay again
Jackie was really good & extremely polite. Showed me to my room which was on the ground floor. The room was really nice with a large shower room. Nice comfortable as well. Can't fault this hotel at all. I parked over the road at the woolshop.
Very basic room which was expected. Bed was comfortable. Very quiet area. Property very run down needs a refurbishment. Was ok for 1 night but wouldn’t stay again.
Bargain hotel in a good little pub, right in the centre of Halifax.
Accommodation was basic but perfect for my one night stay.
Ideal for a gig at The Piece Hall.
I would definitely stay here again.
