The Moxy is a fun hotel where you check in at the bar, where a tune plays from the shower water when you turn it off, where there are chair swings in the lobby and games. You’re never too old for fun.

! Friendly and accommodating. The rooms however, were a little too “bare bones” for our liking. I had to ask for an additional folding chair for the room to put things on. No dresser, no cabinet, no closet. The bathroom was excellent though.

Really nice hotel! A bit further from the water but you can easily walk to the waterfront in about 10 minutes. Nice staff. Includes a welcome drink which was nice.

We loved this hotel! It was so fun. The staff were incredibly friendly. Only minor quibble is that the doors are really loud when they close and that woke me up a few times…but, that’s minor. It was such a fun stay.

I stayed at Moxy for its convenience, downtown. I came on Fri June 27 and checked out this morning July 1st. I really liked the hotel overall, however, not ONE day did room service come to clean the room, restock towels and soap or dump the trash can. I was out early every morning and never put the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door.Yesterday i actually mentioned this to staff, and when i returned, they had restocked towels and dumped the trash. Thats it! Alot of money to not even get a bed change in 5 days.

Unique brand with funky decor. Not your typical hotel. Staff were great but our bill was screwed up. Also, not a quiet hotel and on Friday night the DJ club music in the lobby carried to our room. It was LOUD and went on til midnight. That has to be fixed. While the room was clean and comfortable, storage was a real problem. No closet or dresser, just hooks and most of which were above the big screen TV... useless. Also, only 4 hangers for two people for a week??? Marriott has a bit of work to do here. Right now a little too much form over function but with a bit of effort any deficiencies could be corrected. Good location and food.
