North Shore Garden Hideaway Apartment, No Steps

This is a newly renovated 2 bedroom apartment on a large gated lot in a very secluded neighborhood on the North Shore. The property is located on a hillside above the ocean, (it is not beach front). It is a 3 minute drive from the property to the famous world class beaches and surfing of the North Shore. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, full kitchen and large bathroom with washer and dryer. Plenty of safe parking on the property. It is a downstairs apartment and the owner lives upstairs. The apartment has no stairs for a easy entry.


The apartment is the bottom unit of our home. Separate entrances and parking from owners. The apartment has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with full laundry. First bedroom has queen size bed and 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed. The kitchen has everything to make you feel like home. Full size oven and fridge. Toaster, microwave, dishes, utensils, coffee pot etc. The bathroom has a toilet room and walk-in shower, vanity, full size washer and dryer. The apartment also has air conditioning to keep you comfortable.

We have lived on the property for over 35 years and are responsible adults in our 50's. We also like to have fun, on the weekends we may friends over for dinner parties and sometimes we may start our dirt bikes to go for a ride. We have 3 adorable dogs, Harley, Haze and Kaipo that may come down and say Hi. It is a great spot, with banana trees, papaya trees and taro on the property. A occasional peacock may show up. Its the perfect little get away! 90 day rental.
The apartment is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and space to spread out with 2 bedrooms. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a coffee maker, and an ironing board.

First of all, thank you to Kevin and Krista, They were caring and did go out of the way to accommodate with any questions we had.Also, we stayed in several part of the island to explore their place where hands-down better and bigger place compared to the rest of our experience.The apartment felt spacious, clean, and exactly what we needed it. The outside patio was great. The house itself was in a really nice quiet location very close by to the attractions that we were therefore, Banzai Pipeline, Sunset Beach park , Waimea Valley, also a couple of other beginner surf beaches like, Chuns Reef Beach,Puaʻena Point Beach Park, And other cool locations,We loved Haleiwatown, The first morning when we woke up at the apartment, we were greeted by two peacocks, which was really cool.Certainly, we would recommend this apartment and we certainly will be repeat client in the future.

Loved the central location and the comfortable space! The hosts were excellent in their communications. Very close to grocery and easy access on to the highway. You can’t walk to the beach, but it is a quick drive up and down the hill.

This was a beautiful house tucked away in the quiet hills. Located minutes from world class big-wave surf beaches. Lots of restaurants within reasonable close distance. Highly recommend but get your southern activities done at the same time or you will be driving a lot. Made friends with the cat. He was always coming over for some petting time.

We only used the fridge, but it looked like a lovely kitchen. We were very appreciative of the washer/dryer and the fact they had plenty of laundry detergent and not just a two load supply. We also appreciated the use of beach chairs and beach towels. The host was very friendly and accommodating. I’m sure anything we asked they would help us with. My husband enjoyed the small pool table. The drive up and locating the property was an adventure. But it was nice that is was centrally located.

Lovely property with great access to North Shore activities. It feels more spacious than the pictures show! Outdoor hose station to keep sand outside. Even though it lists outdoor space as “shared”, it feels private. Friendly hosts. Loved our stay!

It was in a nice area quiet and very close to Foodland and food trucks. The house does have a couple of dogs, a friendly cat, and a couple of peacocks that like to visit the lanai in the morning (just a surprise at first). The stay was very good. The bathroom/laundry area is large and nicely put together. The clothes washer needs to have some vinegar or bleach run through and the black stains cleaned off the door.

Up to date, modern with beautiful landscaping. It was very peaceful to sit outside with my coffee in the morning or drinks in the evening. House came equipped with everything you may need during vacation. My sons enjoyed it as well. Will definitely rebook in the future.

Fabulous gem in paradise

This was exactly was the family needed for our week long trip to the North Shore. There was plenty of room, privacy, and wonderfully located close to town. We loved it! The resident cat, Kitty Boy, was so nice and fun to have around. I highly recommend!

Overall, a very good apartment, Clean and efficient and a good location for the North Shore. The lady host was very nice and friendly and always waved when coming and going. Male "owner" - as he called himself; was less so. I would not stay again because of him.

Great location on the North Shore

We are two adult couples. We throughly enjoyed our stay. Close to Foodland for groceries, located on the hill above Shark’s Cove and Pūpūkea Beach. The basement apartment is a walkout basement with Lanei. The 2 bedrooms were large and the kitchen is spacious. Large shower and laundry room. Owners were very friendly. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Their cat Kitty Boy greets you when you come and go. Quiet neighborhood.

Pleasant stay. Minutes from beaches, water falls, groceries, food trucks and Luau. Quiet location up a steep hill but just far enough away from traffic to be very relaxing. Very large kitchen and laundry.
