There aren’t many options in the area, especially those that will take cats. But the hotel was surrounded by slushy snow as the walkway was in progress and the room was filled with smoke.
Paid for a Double Standard Room with 2 queen beds and non-smoking. Was provided with a Standard Room which smelled to cigarette smoke and with only 1 queen bed and a couch bed. Staff told me they were fully booked and I just wanted to have a good time with my kids and not lose a single minute of our short stay. That’s the only reason I decided to stay. Under the bed was super dirty. They haven't vacuum that old carpet for a while. Bathroom was pretty decent. Beds not comfortable at all. No lights except for 2 night lamps.
The view from the room was great!! The room was clean and cool, which was nice with it having been pretty hot outside. Overall it was a good experience at Glacier View Inn.
We had a very good two nights stay here. Very clean and comfortable room. Staff here were welcoming, and were wonderful to hang out with on a down day on our travels. Reception staff on our check in were accommodating to our needs. Great accommodations for our needs and expectations!
Tough to beat when you consider price and options. Super clean and excellent Chinese food 30 second walk

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
It’s the cheapest place in the area and it’s run well and the staff is nice but it’s a cheap motel. If this place is all you can afford so highly recommend it.
While I love to support local hotels in these small remote towns, I am sad to say I would not recommend this place, or at least room #11 to anyone. The smell of stale smoke was unbearable, the bed was lopsided. On the up side the food at the Chinese restaurant, which is the checkin desk, was good.

Check in went smoothly except I was given a receipt that belonged to another guest Room was clean but dated. TV did not work, walls were super thin (noisey) and no hot water for shower. Refrig is plugged in to switch by door so wr accidentally turned off..realized and was able to correct. Food at restaurant good and is was convenient to have so close. I would not select this location as a first choice.
Good value for what you're getting. It's a typical 70's style motel in a remote town. The beds are clean and firm, the water is hot and plentiful. The amenities are what you'd expect. Wifi is very fast considering where you are. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Can't go too wrong for the price. I would return. The restaurant is not terrible.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Smell of cigarette smoke filled the room via the bath vent
Room was uncomfortably hot
TV didn’t work, which meant the noise from the other guests was inescapable
No staff was available at 9:45 pm to answer phone or office door to resolve these issues
I slept in my van on the roadside, and was more comfortable.
Onsite restaurant was good.
Staff was excellent when available
It took me a few days to digest this property stay. The room is not okay, there was still chucks of mud left from the previous guest and a broken glass in the bathroom, lucky we finally spotted it with the poor lighting. If you have another choice, stay somewhere else.
This is an older roadside motel with a dated look of wood paneled walls and flowered bedding but it was clean and comfortable for a night’s stay. Bathroom features and plumbing was in good condition, clean and tidy. There is a restaurant on premises with a menu of Canadian and Chinese options with a selection of local cold beers and wines. Our choices from the Chinese food were very good and many locals came to dine-in or for take-out. There was a pub nearby and a couple of coffee shops within a short walk. There is a large parking lot in front with plenty of room for vehicles with trailers.
