I loved the kitchenette with a full refrigerator. I was able to prepare a healthy meal because they provided everything to allow me to do that. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was quite spacious. Perfect after a long drive. Would definitely recommend to fellow travellers.

Very Clean! Would definitely stay here again. Only thing I didn’t like was the sofa bed when it’s pulled out it gets in the way of the bathroom. And I was in the lower floor where the cars pass by and where people park on the side of the street.

I like the walking distance to the airport and restraunts. It is my go to place. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is time to get some new mattresses. No matter where you lay you roll to the center.

The hotel is not staffed after 10pm. Our toilet broke at 10:15pm on first night. We called the energency number and no one answered. Never. We called for hours. We ended up jimmy rigging it to work with a spare keychain to connect the flusher As it broke off while still partially connected. We also found a moldy coffee filter packet in our coffee maker.. so that was gross.

When the Alaska Marine Highway System ferry arrived over an hour after midnight, hotel staff were there to quickly check in a queue of weary travelers. Room was clean. Our cooler was low on ice, so the full-size refrigerator in the kitchenette was welcome. Ate our own food for breakfast to get on the road quickly next morning. Clean room with a tub, always bonus.

I would have given this property a much higher review, had it not been for the reception when we initially arrived. We were traveling for sports and arrived at the facility with one child and another parent who had more children with her. Immediately, before even checking in, the person at the desk was verbally abusive, citing an experience from a year ago with another group of kids. She spoke harshly and abruptly and the children felt very unwelcome. She went so far as to tell us that she has cameras throughout the hotel that she is able to look at/check from home and would know if the children became unruly. Thankfully, our experience with other staff throughout the weekend was very positive and they were helpful and beyond nice and very welcoming to all the children. I would not recommend this property for anyone visiting with children, particularly if they are there for sporting functions unless they can stomach being greeted by such rudeness.
